"NO OMI. YER NOT DRIVIN. NOW GET YER ASS INTO THE PASSENGERS SEAT AND LEMME GET THSES BAGS." Atsumu shouted, arms full with their luggage, glaring at his husband who stood with his hand on the handle to the drivers seat. "But—" "No. go sit down. Now." Kiyoomi was interrupted by an angry Atsumu who kept glaring at him, watching like a predator as he crossed over to the passenger seat, only then did the blonde smile. After stuffing the last of their things into the boot, Atsumu hopped into the drivers seat, looking over to Kiyoomi and smiling. "Now. Relax and get some sleep yea?" He smiled. Kiyoomi only weakly grinned back, leaning back in his seat and sighing.

When they finally decided to have Kiyoomi admitted into the hospital full time for more intensive treatment, Atsumu had asked the doctor is it was alright for him to bring Kiyoomi for a last trip before he was bed ridden, to which the doctor said okay. The couple were going to the Miya family's cabin deep in the wood. A quiet getaway where they could enjoy their time together. Till this point, only the Miya family knew about its whereabouts, others not even knowing it existed. The road was bumpy, many twists and turns to get there. Having to get the car up steep slopes with too many turns for Atsumu to count was not an easy feat. However, he had managed.

After about 9 hours of driving, they finally arrived, Atsumu opened the door, stretching his arms above him and hearing multiple cracks from his back. He took a deep inhale, allowing the fresh air of the mountain course through his system.

"Omi... we're here.... Wake up..." Atsumu whispered, softly shaking the raven due to not wanted to wake him up too abruptly. Kiyoomi peeked an eye open, lips tilting into a lopsided smile, muttering a soft "morning". Atsumu grinned, chuckling softly. "G'mornin ta ya too omi." He giggled, moving to open the boot while Kiyoomi slowly got up. Together, the moved their belongings into the cabin, setting up the place for their one week stay.

They cleaned and dusted the old cabin from top to bottom, both jamming to songs from Atsumu's playlist together. The place was unsurprising dusty due to years of not being in use, hence, it took them about 2 hours to finally get to cleaned up. "That's the last of it!" Atsumu exclaimed, stretching and massaging his sore muscles from all the cleaning as he dropped all their cleaning supplies into the bucket. The blonde squeaked when he felt two arms come to wrap around his waist, a soft breath caressing his neck and jaw. "Have I ever told you how much I love you?" Kiyoomi mumbled, his warm breath tickling Atsumu's tanned skin. The blonde turned around the face his husband as he cupped the male's cheeks in his warm hands, smiling. "Yea I know. I love me too." He grinned, yelping when Kiyoomi brought a hand up to pull his cheek. "OI OI OI STOP—! OK OK I LOVE YA TOO!" Atsumu whining, letting go of his husband's face to clutch his hand that only let go after the words escaped his parched lips. "Mean Omi Omi!" Atsumu pouted, making Kiyoomi smile as he landed a soft kiss on Atsumu's cheek. The raven walked off, leaving a blushing Atsumu there squeaking before he ran towards the taller male.

For the rest of the day, the couple sung random songs together, danced and just generally enjoyed each other's company, basking in the sunlight that streamed through the open windows. They looked at each other like they held the world in their hands and honestly, to each other, maybe they did.

A loud yawn ripped through Atsumu's vocal cords, scrunching his nose before snuggling back into Kiyoomi's chest. "Tired?" Kiyoomi whispered, running his boney fingers through Atsumu's soft blonde hair, scrubbing and messaging his scalp. He got a soft hum of agreement as Atsumu peaked an eye open. He looked so soft. So angelic. Ethereal even. Kiyoomi couldn't help but smile, kissing his nose before urging the shorter to stand up and go to the bed. They closed the curtains and windows since Atsumu didn't want to wake up to a body full of itchy mosquito bites, having gotten bitten so many times as a child whenever him and his family stayed in the cabin without closing the windows and curtains.
