"That's it."

Atsumu's firm voice reverberated off the walls of the couple's apartment, sending a chill down Kiyoomi's spine as he turned his head to look at his husband who had just slammed his hand on the dinning table. "What's wrong, love?" Kiyoomi asked cautiously as he covered Atsumu's hand with his own larger one. Atsumu sighed, interlocking their fingers and letting his eyelids droop down. "Your cough isn't subsiding and the medication isn't working. Your going to see a doctor and that's final. If it's really just a cough, then that'll calm my nerves a bit but I want to know what's wrong." Atsumu stated. Despite his firm tone, worry glossed his eyes and his fingers tightened around Kiyoomi's. The raven nodded his head, anything to soothe his husband's nerves am I right?

Atsumu walked over to the other side of the table and wrapped his arms around the taller, burying his face in the crook of his neck. Kiyoomi soon returned the hug, arms dropping over the blonde's hunched over figure and squeezing a bit to reassure him that he was going to be alright. They stayed in each other's arms for a few minutes. Breathing slowing down, heartbeats in sync, the loud honking of the cars muted as they basked in the warmth that came with summer. The soft whirling of the ceiling fan filling the house, providing them a comfortable beat to follow as they held each other. No one knew what the doctor's vist would bring or what would happen after but what they knew was that no matter what it was, they would be there for each other through it all. Never once would they let go of their lover as they thread this narrow path in front of them.
