Chapter seven

TW: Mentions of eating animals

All the others slowly start to wake up. Lucius chuckles as he already knows what Snape is thinking. "Before they notice her in your arms, you can give the sleeping beauty to me" Lucius offers, referring to Y/N.

Snape smirks. Lucius has most likely no idea that there is in fact a Muggle fairytale called Sleeping Beauty.

He nods as he hands over Y/N to Lucius. Both Vera and Laura notice it, though. It's not really a surprise, they know that she has been sleeping next to the two Slytherin men many times. Snape just won't show any affection in public, especially not in front of his students.

Lucius then sits down next to his son who finally wakes up. Draco yawns. "Good morning, father. Wait, why are you holding Y/N?" he asks, confused. Draco is a bit oblivious to his Head of House and his father's behaviour towards Y/N.

Lucius chuckles at his son. "She had a nightmare. As Severus and I are the only adults here, it is our responsibility to comfort any of you. And you know that Severus is not good with emotions other than anger" he says as he gives a small smirk.

If only they did see how Severus treats Y/N. They would never believe their own eyes. Their scary, unkind Potions Master comforting a crying girl? That would just never happen. Well, so they think.

Draco widens his eyes. He then smirks, however. "So, would you comfort Potter if he was crying, too?" he asks, trying not to laugh.

Lucius looks disgusted with his son's question. There is no way he would do that! Lucius clears his throat. "The Granger girl will have to do that. It is her job after all to look after Potter and Weasley" he states.

Draco laughs. "Yeah, someone should really pay her for babysitting those two incompetent Gryffindors" Draco says as he smirks. His father smirks as well, agreeing with him.

Laura, Vera and the Trio approach the Malfoys. "So she had another nightmare, huh?" Laura asks.

Y/N has nightmares every night. It's a wonder they didn't wake up because of it this time. They feel bad for their friend, though. If only they could somehow stop these nightmares.

Y/N has told them that she doesn't have any nightmares when she sleeps next to Lucius and Snape, though.

"Yeah, she did. I am sure you are already aware of what, or rather who, they were about" Lucius says as he looks at the two teenage girls.

Both of them nod. They know about David the Savior as Y/N has told them about that night.

She even told them about Negan's really private questions. Douchebag. Well, at least he's locked up in Alexandria. They wonder if he will ever be a part of the community one day. Maybe if he stops swearing every few seconds.

Hermione looks at them. "Maybe Professor Snape could give her a Dreamless Sleep Potion?" she suggests.

Lucius widens his eyes. Of course, why didn't they think about that! The girl wouldn't need to sleep next to them then, though. He chuckles at that internally. Maybe he won't suggest the potion to his friend. Snape has most likely thought about it already but came to the same conclusion as Lucius.

He decides to nod at Hermione. "I will let Severus know" he simply says.

Y/N then slowly wakes up. "Good morning, sleepyhead" Vera says to her friend teasingly.

Y/N blushes. "Um, good morning. Why are you all looking at me?" she asks. It's a bit uncomfortable that all eyes are on her.

Ron laughs. "Well, we were just talking about you. You know, about your nightmares-" he says as he's then cut off by Hermione elbowing him hard.

"Ouch, 'Mione!" Ron exclaims as he rubs the sore spot.

Hermione rolls her eyes at him. "You did not have to remind her of her nightmares!" she says while glaring at her friend.

Harry looks at Y/N, worried. "Are you okay, Y/N?" he asks her.

Y/N sighs but nods nonetheless. "Yeah, I'm fine. Thank you. I'm used to it. Or so I'd like to think" she says, a bit sad.

Lucius then gently rubs her back. "Do not worry, Y/N. We will help make those nightmares end" he reassures.

She smiles at that. "Thank you, Lucius" she says.

Aang, Katara, Toph and Sokka approach them, too. Momo the flying lemur is on Aang's right shoulder. "Good morning, guys. Are you all okay?" Aang asks after a while. They all nod.

Y/N then realises that she's still in Lucius' arms. She blushes as she gently puts a hand on his shoulder and rises up. Lucius holds her hand and gives it a gentle squeeze before letting go.

Ron then looks at Aang and his friends. "Didn't you say that we would go somewhere to eat? I'm hungry" he complains.

Sokka nods in agreement. "Yeah, me too. I'm always hungry" he says.

Both boys high five each other. Katara and Hermione roll their eyes. Well, they definitely have something in common.

Snape approaches as well. "We should probably get going soon, before they start eating the bison" he says in a sarcastic tone.

Aang widens his eyes. "Not Appa! You can't eat him!" he exclaims. Everybody laughs at that.

"Don't worry, Aang. We would never dream of it" Sokka says while still laughing a bit.

Toph then points in a direction. "I agree with the emo guy. Let's go, it's this way" she says. Everybody looks puzzled.

"How did you think of Severus as an emo guy? You are not wrong, though" Lucius says while Snape glares at him.

Toph laughs. "It's easy, he has a dark aura around him. Plus it was a reference to his personality, but I take it he only wears black?" she questions, curious.

Even though she was born blind, she does know about emo people only wearing black. She has been told that black is dark, the only thing she sees.

Both Harry and Ron snort. "Yeah, I have never seen him in anything that wasn't black. I wonder if his Slytherin robes were somehow black too when he went to Hogwarts" Ron wonders.

Snape glares at the Gryffindor boys. "Be careful. You do NOT want to lose house points for such a comment" Snape slowly says through gritted teeth.

Both boys groan. "Professor, seriously. You can't just take house points when we are not in Hogwarts! That's not how it works!" Harry exclaims, annoyed.

Snape smirks at that. "That is where you are wrong, Potter. As I am your professor and on this mission with you, I can indeed take house points. Like I said on our last mission, I will not hesitate to take twenty points from Gryffindor" he states.

Harry sighs. They all then start to walk.
