The snow was slowly falling from the sky, coating everything under a white blanket. Christmas was nearing full speed and my relationships with everyone growing stronger and stronger, especially with Jacob.
"Y/n, would you like to go shopping?" Alice asked as she peeked her head to my room. "Yeah sure," I said getting up from my bed. I followed her downstairs and we went to the car where Esme and Rosalie were already waiting for us.
Alice drove past the usual store where we usually went and continued on the highway. "We are going to a bigger city today since our's doesn't have a wide variety," I nodded and continued looking out the window. The forest was pretty in the winter.
We soon made it to a huge shopping center that was actually rather calm, even though Christmas was coming. "Okay, let's meet here in 3 hours," Alice said and we all went in separate directions. The center had many shops and the variety made my head spin a little.
Time went by fast in the huge mall and my bag was slowly filling with gifts for everyone. Once I got everything needed I walked back to the car. As I got closer I saw Alice there standing by the car. "Oh hi y/n, did you get everything you wanted?" She asked and looked at my bag that was pretty full. "Yeah, I think I did," I looked through my bag to make sure.
Me and Alice were sitting in the car until we saw Esme and Rosalie return and Alice started the engine. They put their bags in the trunk and got in the car. "The store has so many things, it was mind-blowing," Rosalie said and turned the car heat up. "I know right, the store close to our house can't compare," Alice responded.
The ride back was calm, Alice drives smoothly and I didn't get car sick this time. The house was empty when we arrived and I guessed that Edward, Carlisle, Jasper, and Emmett went out too. I took my bag and went to my room to wrap them in.
The wrapping took a long time and before I knew it, it was night and dark outside. Snow was still falling peacefully and the moon was shining. I hid the gifts under my bed and fell asleep. Too tired to do anything else.
The next day, I went downstairs to eat. As I was trying to reach the top cabinet I felt someone behind me. "Do you need help?" Edward whispered in my ear and got uncomfortably close. "N-no?" I responded quickly and reached the cereal box. Edward backed away and poured a glass of water. "Okay," He said after being quiet for 2 minutes and left the room.
Confused, I ate my cereal and then waited for everyone to gather in the living room like they usually do. "Is everything okay?" Carlisle asked worriedly as we waited for others. "Yeah," I nodded my head. A little while later everyone was in the living room.
"Care to tell us why are we waiting here?" Jasper asked from the corner. "Okay, I know you are vampires," I said casually surprising myself. "Since when?" Carlisle questioned, clearly tense. "Since the camping trip when you went hunting after the walk," "And why didn't you run away?" Edward mumbled. "Because I'm not scared, I have nothing to lose either way," I responded. Carlisle thought a little and then said "As long as you don't tell anyone,"
Later that night, I dressed up warmly, took Jacob's gift, and sneaked out of the house. Jacob and I agreed to meet up in the forest again to exchange gifts because he was away at Christmas. I held Jacob's gift tightly and waited for him.
After waiting for 5 minutes I felt someone hug me from behind and the cold going away almost instantly. I turned around and hugged Jacob back. Once again I noticed that he was dressed very lightly considering it was winter and very cold outside.
"Sorry for letting you wait, I had to help Seth with some things," He said apologetically. "It's ok, I didn't wait long," I broke the hug and held the gift out. "Open it when you are home," "Okay," He said a little suspicious but still smiling. "Then I'll have to say the same thing to you too," Jacob said and handed me a small box.
"You should go now," Jacob said. "Yeah, it's cold," I giggled a little making my small, fragile, cute, petite body shake. I hugged him, said goodbye, and ran back home. I went to my room and opened the gift. It was a handmade bracelet with a wolf on it. I put it on my wrist and it fit perfectly. I changed to my oversized shirt and pants and fell asleep, smiling little.
