The battle was coming soon and we were all nervous about it. We were most worried for Renesmée since we didn't know what Volturi would do to her. The team, that Carlisle had made up was ready and we were practicing. For once the house was too small since there were too many vampires in it and every room was in use.
"We'll go to the battle tomorrow if they will start a fight," Carlisle said. "The wolf pack takes Renesmée," he added and Edward didn't seem to like that idea at all. "So, be prepared," Carlisle said and sat down. The other vampires went to their rooms as I stayed with the Cullens.
The next day we were on an empty field. On my left were Esme and Carlisle holding hands, and on the right was Jacob with Renesmeé on his back just in case. Next to Jacob were Edward and Bella. The air was tense and I felt the anxiety slowly come.
Alice was standing in front of Aro, as he read the future from Alice. Suddenly Alice took her hand away. "It doesn't matter what I show you," Alice said looking straight into his eyes. "Even when you see you still won't change your decision," Alice added angrily. "Now," She whispered.
Bella looked at Renesmeé and then at Alice. "Take care of my daughter," Bella said looking at Jacob and he ran away. I heard someone whisper "Get them," but that thought faded away when Alice kicked Aro in his chin with her leg and he flew across the field.
When Aro regained himself, he was furious. Two vampires in robes took Alice and held her in place. Everyone looked at Aro, scared and worried. The wolf pack was also very irritated and was ready to attack any time. "Let her go!" Carlisle yells as he starts running towards Aro.
Aro and Carlisle meet mid-air and in a second, Aro is standing on the ground. Carlisle's head in his hands. Esme screams, tears running down her face. I felt such anger I immediately start running towards Volturi, ready to rip their heads off.
And with that, chaos began. Bella put a mental shield around everyone, so Jane couldn't attack us. I concentrated on some of the enemies and watched them fall to the ground in pain. In the corner of my eye, I saw Jasper being held by two vampires and before I could do anything, they killed him.
Alice screamed as everyone else kept fighting. I was successfully killing the enemies until I saw Seth in his wolf form breathe heavily on the ground. I quickly ran to him. "Seth! Please!" I yelled but by then he was already dead.
I was too focused on Seth I didn't hear someone coming my way and in a quick moment, I was held by Marcus. I tried my hardest to get out of his grasp but he was too strong. I saw Jane slowly nearing me and the Cullens running towards us. "JACOB!" I yelled with all of the power I have left.
3rd person pov
As soon as Jacob heard y/n scream, he took a sharp u-turn. Renesmée was confused and sick of their shit but she still held on to Jacob. He tried to run as quickly as he could and since they weren't far from the field they made it there quickly.
The first thing Jacob saw was y/n's head getting ripped off. The Cullens looked at y/n's dead body that was now on flames and then at Jacob, who was fuming. "JACOB DON'T!" Bella screamed as Jacob dashed towards Aro.
He didn't care what happened next, the only thing Jacob wanted was to see Aro dead. Jacob jumped at Aro, and soon Aro's head was held by Jacob, as Aro's body fell flat on the ground. Jacob ran with Aro's head in his mouth to the torch and set Aro's head on fire.
The battle was now over. The air went from tense to intense and then to grief. Renesmée got off of Jacob and ran to Bella and Edward, leaving Jacob in the middle of the field. The only thought on Jacob's mind was y/n.
All of the memories with her coming back to him. When they first met, how it was only a little crush. Jacob imprinted on her, she was her soulmate. Jacob's soulmate was gone and wouldn't ever come back. 'Y/n, my y/n' Jacob thought
"Now you know, that's your future, unless you decide on another course," Alice said to Aro and he turned around. "Dear ones, there is no danger here, we will not fight today," Aro said. Everyone slowly started to walk away as Aro looked at us. "Such a price," Aro said with a sus smile and left with others.
After we were back at the Cullens' house, everyone sat down and I thanked everyone with the Cullens for coming and helping us. By the evening everyone were gone. I hugged the Cullens and walked home with Jacob.
The forest was quiet in the evening, moonlight brightening it up a little. "Do you want to go for a midnight swim?" Jacob asked suddenly. "Sure," I said as we changed direction and walked towards La Push.
We were back on the cliff once again as I looked down. "Jacob, it seems scary," I said laughing. "I will jump and you'll jump after me, okay?" Jacob paused smiling. "Trust me," He said and jumped as I jumped after him.
This time I got up to the surface before Jacob could grab me. I laughed as he floated next to me and splashed me with water. "Now my clothes are wet," I said pouting as I realized that. "It's okay, I'll dry them," Jacob said laughing as we swam towards the beach.
We sat down and watched the moon. My head on his shoulder, holding his hand.
"Everything worked out after all," I said sighing.
"Surprisingly, it did," Jacob replied, holding my hand tighter.
"I love you,"
"I love you too,"
