chapter 12

3rd person pov

Alice went out hunting with Jasper, Rosalie, and Emmet, while Carlisle and Esme went to the store. Edward was hanging with Bella and so y/n was home alone. "Bets on y/n and her meeting up with Jacob," Emmett said while chuckling. "She's a free girl, it's up to her what she does," Rosalie replied to Emmett.

"Where are we going today?" Jasper asked while looking around. "The usual place?" Alice suggested and Jasper nodded in response as they continued walking. The walk there wasn't long and soon they stopped and stood in complete silence.

As they were finishing up Alice suddenly got a vision that made her stop immediately making everyone else look at her. Alice saw y/n in the forest, hysterically crying and screaming. The images replaying in her head multiple times before she finally managed to get a word out. 

"Is everything okay Alice?" Jasper asked, his hand sliding on Alice's waist. "We have to go quickly, y/n fainted!" Alice yelled to the others. "Where is she?!" Rosalie asked nervously. "Close to our house by the river, let's go!"

Alice started running to y/n, others close behind. "If that dog did something to her, I swear," Emmett said madly while almost running into a tree. Soon they were running by the river which meant that the house and y/n were close. 

Once everyone made it, y/n was lying down on the ground with tear stains all over her face, her clothes and face a little muddy due to the ground under her. "Oh no," Alice quietly mumbled, while Rosalie picked her unconscious body up. 

"Emmett and I will bring her home, you two go and deal with Jacob," Rosalie said and started walking to the house with Emmett. "Alright, finding him will take time but we will try to be as quick as possible," Jasper said and took Alice's hand as they walked in the other direction. 

As soon as Emmett and Rosalie were nearing the house, Esme came out with a panicked face. "What ha-" Esme tried to ask until she saw Rosalie carrying y/n. "We don't know, Alice and Jasper are currently on their way to find the dog," Rosalie said furiously.

"Let's get y/n in her room and have her rest," Rosalie added and walked in up to her room with Esme following her. "I'll go get Carlisle, is he at home?" Emmett asked. "Yes," Esme replied quickly and disappeared upstairs. 

Emmett knocked on Carlisle's office door and was about to tell everything. "I know, I heard everything, I'll be up in her room soon," He said and Emmett left the office, following Rosalie and Esme to y/n's room.

"How far did that dog go, my god" Alice said as she was running with Jasper, trying to find Jacob. "Trust me, if I'd knew that we would've found him," Jasper replied to her and stopped. Alice looked at him with worry in her eyes. "Something?" She asked while looking around. "Edward was with him," Jasper replied. "Oh no,"

Jasper and Alice continued running until they made it to a meadow, where they saw Edward and Bella. "That's Edward and Bella but not Jacob," Alice said confused. Jasper shushed him and pointed to the other side of the meadow, where Jacob was standing. 

"Let's sneak up on him, I'm very sure he wants to interrupt their date," Jasper said very quietly, and as quietly as they could they slowly sneaked upon him, took his arms, and ran. Jacob tried to get away from their grasp but couldn't.

Alice and Jasper ran for a little until they were far enough for Edward not to hear. They let him go and eyed him. "Why were you spying on Edward and Bella?" Jasper asked. "I don't know," Jacob responded. "You are lying," Alice spat at him.

"What did you do to y/n?" Alice asked him, this time a little calmer. "I asked to take a break with her, why?" He responded looking at the ground. "Just so you could spy on Edward and Bella?" Jasper asked and Jacob nodded a little. "Pathetic," Jasper stopped for a bit.

"You do realize that there is no way for you to get with Bella?" Jacob looked at Jasper angrily. "Once Edward sets his eye on something, he gets it, don't you understand?" Jasper lectured Jacob while Alice watched. "It was hard getting him away from y/n, now you want him to give up on Bella," Alice added in.

Jacob looked back on the ground and sighed. "Bella is giving me mixed signals," Jacob said finally. "What do you mean by that?" Jasper questioned. "Some days she is so nice with me and jokes about being in a relationship and then the other days she is so quiet and mean to me, I don't know what to do," Jacob explained sadly. 

"But why won't you be with y/n?" Alice asked a little confused again. "Ever since Bella came in town, we kind of fell out," Jacob said. "What I mean, she hanged out with Bella more often and I had to visit Bella too since my dad is friends with Bella's dad," Jacob clarified.

"I still don't understand anything," Jasper said at the same time with Alice. "Either way you are not allowed close to y/n until you apologize," Alice added. "We found her in the forest lying on the mud, that poor girl was screaming for you," "It was never my intention," Jacob quietly mumbled.

Once Jasper and Alice were home, they all sat down in the living room. "What do we do with her when she wakes up?" Rosalie asked, pinching her temples. "We have to see, from what I understood Jacob meant a lot to her?" Carlisle asked and Alice nodded in response.

"If I would ever break up with someone, I'd hope for my friends to make me happy or make me not think of it," Alice said after 5-minute silence, Jasper looked at her with a confused face. "She wouldn't break up with you dumbass," Emmett said to Jasper.

"We have to be prepared for the worst," Carlisle said and stood up. "Until then, hope that Edward won't do the same to Bella," he added and left back to his office. Esme nodded and eyed the floor sadly.
