chapter 19

3rd person pov

"You ready?" Charlie asked Bella. "Just don't let me fall down," Bella replied. "Never," he said back as they began walking down the aisle. Bella looked nervous and gripped the flower bouquet tightly. 

Once Charlie and Bella made it to the altar, Charlie hesitantly let go of Bella's hand and walked to his seat as Bella stood next to Edward, smiling wide. Bella and Edward faced the officiant as he signaled the guests to sit.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered here on this glorious day to witness the union of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan," He paused for a bit. "Please repeat after me," The officiant added. 

(skipping to the end)

"I do," Edward said. "I do," Bella replied. "I love you," Edward said again. "I love you too," Bella replied again and they kissed as the guests cheered for them. Charlie looked like he was about to cry as Renée smiled and clapped. Carlisle kissed Esme on the cheek while y/n was crying rivers as Rosalie and Emmett comforted her.

y/n's pov

I walked around the party, looking for people to talk to. I heard some people talk about the cake and soon saw Alice nearing them. I could see Bella and Edward talk with Seth, Billy, and Charlie. I sat down on my chair and took a sip of the champagne in the glass.

Emmett got on the stage and knocked on the microphone a few times. "Uhhh I'd like to propose a toast to my new sister, Bella I hope you got enough sleep these last 18 years, cause you won't be getting any more in a while," Emmett said laughing. 'Of course a vampire joke' I thought to myself laughing to myself.

Jessica, Charlie, and Alice were before me and I watched them give a speech. Soon it was my turn to give my speech. "Bella I've known you for a long time, I have always imagined you as my sister and I love you dearly," I said to her, as she smiled at me.

"Edward, I have gotten to know you as a very intelligent and humble person and I adore you for being there for Bella," I said looking at Edward. 'Don't you ever dare to do something bad to her' I thought as Edward laughed.

"I want to raise a toast to Mr. and Mrs. Cullen, I know you will be there for each other and will love each other, always and forever," I said smiling at them. The crowd cheered as I sat down on my seat and the party continued.

I looked around from my chair. Alice and Jasper were definitely doing the best moves on the dance floor, as Jasper even flipped her over. I decided to find Renée as others began to dance and talk with guests.

I found Renée sitting alone at one of the tables slowly sipping champagne as I sat next to her. "Is everything okay?" I asked her worried. "Oh yeah, it's just that," She paused and took a deep breath. "I never expected her to marry so soon, it just was when she moved here and now she is already married," Reneé said sighing.

"Well I don't know if it helps but she is still 18, and she has a long life ahead," I said trying to comfort her. "Yeah," Reneé said and nodded her head. "Anyways now tell me what happened," She said looking happier than ever as I told her the whole story from start to beginning.

After I was done with that I decided to look around. I saw a lot of familiar faces from the graduation party. I couldn't look long though because soon Edward stood next to me. "Is everything okay?" I asked him. "Jacob is here," Edward said a little tense. "I'll go deal with him," I said quickly and walked to the back of the house.

Once I saw him, I ran and hugged him tightly. "Why weren't you at the party?" I asked him. "I'm having currently a tense relationship with both of them," Jacob said his hands on my waist. I sighed and listened to the music quietly coming from the party.

A slow song came on and I looked at Jacob. "Want to dance?" He asked almost like he could read my thoughts. I nodded in response and we slowly swayed to the tempo of the song. The summer evening was nice and cool. As the song was slowly coming to an end I reached up and kissed Jacob deeply.

Soon we saw Seth coming from the front of the house. When Seth saw me he quickly walked up to us and hugged me. "Hello Seth," I said, rustling his hair. "Hello," Seth said happily. "How is the party? Are you enjoying it?" I asked him. "It's good, too many dead people though," He said jokingly. 

A little later they said goodbye, Jacob disappearing in the forest and Seth going with Billy. I got back just in time to say goodbye to Bella and Edward as they were about to go leave for their honeymoon

"Be safe Bella," I said hugging her. "I will," Bella assured me and smiled. They got in drove slowly so everyone could wave to them. After that, the wedding was over and we began taking down all of the decorations. Shortly everything was back in its usual place and we went inside to rest.
