Elvin's POV

I was chilling on the sofa, Kiara was rubbing her cheeks with Calli who looked very annoyed. Ina and Gura had a small friendly(?) argument about... sitting on my lap. Ame looked amused as she watched all of us doing our own business.

"Say, Elvin..." Ame suddenly asked me.

"Hm?"

"You are not immortal in the first place, right?" The others stopped at what they were doing and immediately looked at me. Although Kiara's cheeks were still planted on Calli's, their gaze was focused on me. It's kinda cute.

"Nope."

"Then how did you gain immortality?"

"Let's see..."

Flashback

Teenager me was wandering through the forest like a lost kid. Well, not like I have a home, anyway.

Suddenly, a red smoke appeared in front of me. A devil came out from it while looking at me. He eyed me closely before grinning.

"Hey, kid."

I titled my head. "Hm?"

He put his arm around my shoulder. "I can grant you one wish. But I have one condition."

He pointed his finger at me with a serious expression. "When you die, your soul will mine."

A smart me decided to humiliate him. "Cool! I wish to be immortal!"

Without second thoughts, he shook his hand with mine. "Then it's a deal!"

His face turned into a realization. "Wait a min-"

Flashback Ends

"...And that's how I attained heav- *ahem* I mean, immortality."

Gura and Ina looked dumbfounded.

Calli blinked her eyes several times before her face turned into a confused expression, unable to process what she just heard.

Ame was laughing her ass off.

Kiara.exe has stopped working.

"S, So, you're, you're telling me th-that, s-sorry hold on-" Ame couldn't speak as she laughed hard again until she ran out of breath. "Ha, ha... Okay, I never had that laugh for a while." She wiped a tear on the corner of her eyes.

Kiara.exe has rebooted.

"So... You answered you want to be immortal, just because you want to humiliate him? No particular reason? Like nothing at all?" Kiara asked as I nodded casually, making Ame wheeze.

Kiara.exe has stopped working. (2)

"I, I can't laugh anymore... I'm out of breath." Ame panted. "Haah~"

Ina gave Ame a look of determination. "Ame, you know what to do."

It took few seconds before Ame grinned. "Leave it to me!"

"Don't tell me they are going to..." Calli sighed.

"I'm... Pretty sure they are."

In the end, Ina and Ame couldn't find one.

But like a wise man once said, "Drastic changes for drastic measures."

Oh, wait-

BOOM!

Oh shit, that's the sound of 4th wall breach.

""Au, thor, kun~"" I feel a pair of hands grabbed my shoulder.

""You know what to do, hm?""
