3rd POV

"You know Cyd?" Elvin asked.

"Yep. She's a friend of mine." Irys answered.

"And here I thought you're a lonely dragon, Cyd. Well, aside from me being your friend." Elvin shrugged as Cyd gained a tick mark.

"By the way, Cyd, why the hell is it so spacy here?" Elvin looked around.

The cave was very large. Possibly ten times the amount of Cyd's body.

"I don't like small places. And I'm a dragon so..." Cyd trailed off.

"Fair enough. Irys, I heard something about despair and hope. What's with those two?"

"I'm going to keep it simple. You may not feel it, but this era has been filled with despair and desperation. Because of those reasons, I was awakened to deliver hope."

"If that's true, how do you deliver this... hope?" Mumei asked.

Irys put a troubled face. "That's... I'm still thinking about it."

"Any talents that you have? Dance? Sing? Comedy?" Kiara asked.

"I can sing a bit."

"A bit? I heard her singing several times. It was calming. She has a great voice. Humu." Cyd nodded proudly.

Irys blushed. "Cyd!"

"I'm just stating facts."

"Singing. Got it. I think I may be able to help with that." Elvin said.

"How?" Irys asked.

"Wait, Elvin. Are you thinking what I am thinking?" Calli asked.

Elvin looked back. "Well, there's no other way. Right?"

"You do have a point there..."

"What are you thinking about?" Irys asked.

"As much as I want to discuss it, this isn't a proper place to do that. And we got some company." Elvin summoned his sword.

Sure enough, demons started appearing around them. And there were a lot of them.

"Oh, not again. Seriously, can you lowly creatures stop appearing in my hideout?" Cyd groaned.

"They are demons and we are in the Underworld. This world is basically their territory." Calli answered before pulling out her scythe.

Kiara's badge on her left chest transformed into a sword and shield. "It's been a while since I did this!"

"Cyd, can you protect Ame?" Elvin asked.

"Yeah."

"Mumei, Bae, Irys, stay back." Kronii said to them.

"Okay. Besides, I can't fight if there's a lot of demons like this." Mumei said.

"Eh, as long I can enjoy this chaos, sure." Bae shrugged.

"Be careful." Irys said.

"May I join?" Kronii summoned her dual sword.

"Sure." Elvin said.

"I'm just going to stay back this time. I don't feel like fighting today." Cyd curled up, protecting Ame, Mumei, Bae, and Irys, while also letting them see the fight.

Those who fight took a stance and readied themselves. Silence followed.

One of the demons moved and scratched its blade to the ground.
