The moment Kinkajou and Turtle were free, they immediately took off into the sky. As Turtle's scales felt the air hit him, he longed to be back in the ocean. He longed to feel the salty water rush down his spine as he swam. But it was too dangerous now that Turtle's mother wanted nothing to do with him. As Kinkajou and Turtle flew, he could feel Kinkajou's emerald eyes on his back. Normally, Turtle would confront what happened, but right now he wasn't in the mood for talking.

Turtle thought that this was all done. That the moment he became more famous in the world, his mother started to talk to him. But...what happened was like all that never happened. What even happened? Why would she do that to him? It made no sense. Turtle was too busy in his thoughts that he didn't even notice that the sun was setting behind him. When he landed on the entrance of the Sky Palace, Kinkajou glanced at Turtle with worry in her eyes.

"Turtle? You okay?" Kinkajou wondered, her voice sounded so soft and gentle. Not something Kinkajou like. Her voice snapped him out of his thoughts as they started to wander into a dark hole. A hole that he left a long time ago but he somehow was dragged back into it. Turtle's green eyes met Kinkajou's pink ones. He tried to brighten them for her. He tried to be the stone so she could be vulnerable with him, but...he was so depleted. So...tired.

"Not really," he whispered. Kinkajou sighed and then walked over to him, her talons scraping against the hard stone. Her scales curled against his green ones, the places where her scales touched his, burst pink and yellow. Happiness. Turtle watched as Kinkajou settled herself comfortably in front of him.

"Turtle, I don't know what happened, but I'm here for you. And NO matter what happens, I'll always be here for you. And WHOEVER hurts you will PAY," Kinkajou threatened. "I mean, not like I can really dooooo annnyyythiiinnggg. But I can always TRY. YES. I will try. I have my deadly venom! Whoever--" Turtle let out a small laugh at the thought of Kinkajou using her venom on someone, then kissed the top of Kinkajou's snout. That shut her up real quick. A bright pink burst throughout Kinkajou's scales.

"I'm glad I have somedragon like you," Turtle purred. Above them, the moon shone, which illuminated Turtle's snout more. But he could care less if the moon was shining directly on him. All he cared about was Kinkajou.

"I'm glad I have you too," smiled Kinkajou. "You make me SOOOO happy."

"You make me soooo happy too," Turtle beamed. They stared at each other in silence. The only sound was the sound of crickets in the background and the song of the stars. As they stared at each other they felt as if they were the only dragons left on the continent. Left on the world. The moonlight shined on Kinkajou's face, bringing out her beautiful eyes. How is it that she looks even more beautiful every time I look at her, Turtle wondered. Slowly, he lowered his snout so that they were millimeters apart.

Kinkajou's breath hitched as his snout got closer...and closer...closer...

"Ummmm, am I interrupting something?" a familiar voice coughed. Turtle's snout snapped up and then turned red at the sight of Qibli standing at the door. Kinkajou scrambled up, trying to hide the blush that was already forming at the edge of her cute snout.

"Uh..." Turtle trailed off. He didn't know what to say. Yes, you are Qibli. A very good moment. But of course, he couldn't say that. That was downright rude, and in no way a prince should act like that. "It's fine," Turtle muttered. Kinkajou slumped a bit, telling Turtle that she did not like the response. "Later, I'll make it up to you," purred the SeaWing prince in Kinkajou's ear. Again, as if Qibli wasn't there, Kinkajou's whole body exploded with pink.

Turtle smirked at her reaction then turned to Qibli. "Do you know where Peril is?" Turtle wondered.

"The same place she's always been in..."
