"Alright, be veeeeeeeery careful, kitten." Baekhyun spoke from down below, with hands in the air to catch me if I were to fall. "I don't want any guys to see your panties while pasting the banner."
I pursed my lips as I climbed up onto the chair and held the banner in my hands. Pressing my lips, I frowned to state the obvious, "Well, shouldn't you be doing this then?" He was taller than me, so he could paste the banner in higher position. And plus, he was a guy and didn't have to worry about a pervert peeking what was under his pants.
"It's fine, you do it." He scratched his head, signalling that he was too lazy to do the job that he was supposed to.
Sighing, I then spread the banner that we had received today to paste onto the goddamn big notice board in the main hallway. The white and dark blue colours complimented well with the font used to emphasise the event that was going to be held soon before the summer break.
Winner Elite High's 56th Annual Talent Show Contest
Talent shows provide arenas for students to demonstrate a skill or talent of their choice. The goals of this talent show are to practice performing, have fun, and encourage positive feedback. Young eligible heirs who receive regular praise and encouragement feel better about themselves and are generally motivated to succeed; a talent show is a fun, engaging way for participants to show off something they are good at and to receive praise for their efforts.
I read the banner again after making sure it was positioned in the correct angle. Folding my hands together, I was starting to think if this was going to worth my time in case I'd ever join such a meticulous competition. "Baekhyun, what's the first place prize?" He was still in a protective mood, trying to save me if I stumble around to get down.
"I'm not sure." He didn't seem to have an idea despite being one of the organisers. "I'll ask around."
An idea popped into my head, "If I enter this, I'll get extra credit for my curricular activities, right?"
"Uh..What talent do you have, kitten?" He furrowed his brows.
"I can spin four hula hoops at the same time."
His frown deepened as if he had heard something ridiculous. "That's a no. I think at the end of the day, it's your head going to spin around in dizziness. You already have enough extra credit for being a council member. Plus, you don't have time to practice."
My smile faltered. Ah, that was right. I had so many works to do, especially since I was too a council member. Despite not giving any contributions that muchㅡsince my job was also revolved around the sports area, but I still had to be one of their lackeys if they needed someone to carry stuffs around.
