It was barely a week and a half since summer break started. The two of us were lounging around at home without any intention to go for a holidayㅡwell mostly me, since at least Chaewon got to breathe some air when he go to work. The free time that I had before was used to already completed all of my summer homework.
The council members occasionally dropped in the chat room to update whatever they were doing; but let's just be honest, if they weren't sipping some earl grey tea, they'd be sending a photo of them at the beach outside the country instead. It's either one of the two.
Naeun also let me know what she was up to for summer, mostly helping her parents around the restaurant like she used to told me.
"Oh, I think there's a mail. Can you go and check it?" Chaewon lowered the volume on the television, making sure the door bell ringing was heard clearly.
When I stepped outside and finally getting feel the warmth of the sun, I squinted my eyes to take the mail that was inserted in the mailbox. Uh, it was barely five seconds I was out but I already felt lifeless. The mail was wrapped in a pink colour envelope, making me weirded out a little bit. Flipping it around, I frowned upon to see there was Kim Yeri's name and address as the sender.
"Whose letter is that?" Chaewon said upon noticing I was coming back inside with a very funny looking letter.
I scratched my neck, "Mine, maybe." Making my way up to my room, I sat down on my bed to break down the mystery of why would the photography club member send something to my home. Maybe it was a mistake.
Hello, Chorong ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ
This is Kim Yeri, from the Photography Club. I am sending you this letter not because I have a crush on you. It's because I have to deliver the photos that I have taken during the talent show contest to the student council for approval before it gets published in the school magazine.
The reason why I chose your address is because your house is the only one without tight security guards and laser traps set up around your yard, so it's the fastest. If you have received this letter, then please do tell any council members for me and let them know the pictures have arrived.
P/s: If you can help me deliver this to themselves in person, that will be better for me ☆彡
I brought the paper to my nose to smell it. Oh, it was rose scented. Looking through the envelope once again, more pictures were poured out from inside to spread across my bed. A smile immediately crawled up my face once I laid my eyes on the picture that she took that day. "It turned out really great, huh.." My hand went to bring a picture of Jung Jaehyun up, letting the light to make it more clearer.
