Despite trying to keep a good modest reputation, I couldn't help myself but to loudly stifle a yawn as soon as I entered the classroom.
I got cramp all over my body due to the training from yesterday. All of sudden, I felt like I had sold my soul to a demon for making myself move around too much. Rubbing my shoulders in a circular motion, I felt the ache coming through from all sort of muscles. That's what you get for skipping training for months and added fats to your body.
But that wasn't something that I couldn't handle. The only problem here was the fact that I had to walk back and forth home to school with aching legsㅡnot that I was really complaining. I just had to endure it for a few more weeks and then I'd really get used to it like normal again.
When I told Chaewon about me entering a club, he got down on his knees and prayed in the middle of the living room. "Oh, the great God! You have finally given my sister an awakening!" He didn't get to finish the rest of his prayer since I kicked him rolling on the floor last night.
"Is that you, kitten?"
I snapped from my entrance, eyes making their way to see Baekhyun sittingㅡwith a stack of papers on his desk as if he was drowned in the abyss of paperwork. "No, this is Patrick."
He snorted at the ridiculous answer. "Why are standing at the door?"
"And what are you doing?" I asked him back and finally got to my seat.
"Just confirming some things from the council work."
"Oh, so you do actually have works to do." I plainly remarked. It looked as if he had to sign something on a registration paper, but make it hundred copies. To be honest, I didn't quite believe he had any jobs done for the sake of the school growth before. Now that I had seen it with my own two eyes, maybe it was the time for me to put my faith into him.
He clenched on his chest, dramatically acted like he just got a shot. "Excuse me, miss. But I'm a respected vice president. I'm one of the cool kids here." A scoff was heard at the end of his words. I didn't reply more since he continued to focus on his work. I'll just return his bottle later when he really finish his work.
The empty classroom was now consisted of the two of us, both scribbling and writing. But for me, I was finishing up my physics homework that I hadn't completed yet last night. Occasionally, I glanced at Baekhyun who sat at the front from the corner of my eyes. He seemed overly focused at a certain point, there was no evidence of him sneaking from his work.
