The second term of school had officially started.

After spending a whole month of summer, my new uniform finally arrived. It had a different design than before, but I was thinking this one was better after seeing it didn't come with a jacket for outerwear. It was short sleeves as well, and a cute black ribbon for girls' tie. When the package came, it reminded me how fancy the uniform was compared to my last summer uniform.

Making my way to pass through the students gathered in front of the notice board, I tried hard to not fall out of nothing. When I made a final push, I took place right in front of of the long list paper was stuck on the board.

Running my finger to search for my name, I breathed a sigh to find my name on where I wasn't expecting it to be.

It was the midterm exam ranking.

"Huh?" Kim Junmyeon was in the first place in overall second year ranking? Even after he was sleeping all the time during the starting of the year?! He even beat me! I couldn't help but to scoff. As expected, he was really a one damn rich heir that got it all. God must've taken a like on Junmyeon when he first created him in his mother's womb.

"Chorong." Naeun came out of nowhere. "You're in high ranking. But why aren't you happy?" Sipping a strawberry yogurt drink, she gave me a look.

I heaved a disappointed breath. "To keep my scholarship, I should be in the top 3 at least.. If this keeps up, I won't be able to survive." I must've been spending too much time with student council after school that it took half of my studying time. As expected, the student council wasn't all rainbows and sparkles besides from its extracurricular marks. This was my lowest ranking that I could've gotten in my life.

"I'm sure you'll do much better next time!"

"How did you do?" Changing the subject, I raised a brow. When she casually pointed at where her name was located, it almost made my heart dropped. "..that's twenty, but from the last place."

"I'll study more." She waved her hand in the air as if this was a normal thing for her. Looked like someone needed a massive tutoring from a spartan teacher.

Someone came to halt our conversation. A hand slightly pushed away my finger that was still on the board, possibly because it was covering their point of view. Turning my head, I immediately took three steps away backwards like it was an automatic response after seeing who it was. Yixing smiled, not realising the reaction he had just gotten.
