Beside from avoiding Junmyeon who was becoming all weird in classes, Baekhyun running around alongside Chanyeol to finish up the paperworks, student committees having meetings frequently and someone illegally built a chicken coop behind the schoolㅡmy life was pretty much normal.
The sound of it made me nervously laughed because, how could I even live a normal and quiet life ever since I moved here?
I didn't bother myself much with the council guys since the past few days since I pretty much had my own blooming life that I needed to nurture. So far I could say that I managed to survive living around the rest of the extraordinary rich kids just fine. Except for the fact that I kept having my things going missing..But nevertheless, that was something that I could hold onto for now. If they were suddenly to attack me physically, then I might had to retaliate back.
"ChorongㅡHaa!" Naeun's voice suddenly got me to stop my track from running. Turning around, I frowned when I saw her literally way back at behind of the line. She was squished between a few people as I could see her hands flailing in the air for help. "You're too fast..!"
"Sorry, I don't want to be late for the registration." I spoke as soon as she stood in front of me after a few minutes. Naeun already looked like she was about to pass out, and the event hadn't even started yet. I wondered what would happen if she couldn't keep up with my feet..there should be a medic around just in case, was it?
Ah, that was right. Let me rephrase my words; I managed to survive living around the extraordinary rich kids just fineㅡup until the day of my sports debut day, the annual school marathon. That was today.
I thought it was done like other schoolㅡbut heck no, Winner Elite High just had to drop in a bombastic touch all the way through the event.
As soon I stepped in for the registration booth, how annoyed I was to see the student council members chilling under a reserved big ass tent with their Hawaiian shirts and floral necklaces. What, was this marathon supposed to be a Hawaiian theme or something? I peeked at my usual sports uniform and the rest of the other participants. One thing for sure, the student council surely liked being the centre of attention.
I rubbed the sides of my temple and forced a happy smile. Don't bother, Chorong. I had to make sure I shouldn't be thinking about how they looked when I myself had another important thing to think of. My food prize! That was right, nothing could stop me from winning today if that meant I get to be a glutton. With Naeun on my behind, it was then my turn arrived.
