Chapter 8:  Jake is back

Next day, I woke up early, because I'm going to go to Kylie's house to help set up the preparations for her birthday party. I sent her a 'Happy Birthday' text before I started to get ready.

Yesterday, when Tyler and I talked to his dad about what I saw he told me today there will be extra boarder control everyday and night. He's not going to take any chances when it came to the rogues, because he thinks they were sent here by Jarvis.

I wonder how I would find my guards, but my dad told me I already found two of them. Who are the remaining three? I hope I know them.

I came out of my thoughts as a knock came to my door, "John is here," yelled my mom.

"Thank you!"

I hurried and put on my sandals and walked out of the house with the bag of presents in my hands. John already told me that he already dropped of Kylie at the pack house, so Cade could take her somewhere until we were done setting things up for her birthday party.

Today was Kylie's big day of finding her mate. I hope it's Cade, because they would make a cute couple/mates and pulse they have been spending a lot of time together lately. While they have fun, John and I were going to run around town trying to get the food, and the people at John's house are setting up the decorations up. My mom was going to be there after she picks up the balloons.

When we had pick up all the food, the car smelled so good. When we got back to the house after going back and forth ten times of getting the the food, we were finally done. I got out of the car and started to carry three boxes of cupcakes through the house and towards the back yards.

When I came out of the house, I saw people were putting the stage up for the DG and other people were getting the chairs, tables, and decorations in the right places. As I was carrying the boxes towards the table of food, I heard my name being called out, I turned my head around to see Tyler holding a small box in his hands.

"Can I talk to you for a minute?"

"Yeah, just give me a minute."

I handed the box over to my mom and walked over to Tyler. He was standing by a tree. He looked like he hasn't had any sleep, but he stilled looked cute.

I walked up to him and he said, "can you give this to Kylie?" I looked down and saw that he had a box and a card. I nodded my head yes and he said, "thank you."

While he was handing me the box and the card, I said, "you're welcome."

"Have you told her about us?"

I shook my head no and said, "I was planning onto tomorrow, because I really haven't had the time to tell her."

"Oh, okay then can we talk about us?"

"Tomorrow, I really don't know?" He looked sad. I reached out my hand to his check so he could look down at me. When I touched him, he looked down at me, "I can see if I can talk to you right now."

"Thank you."

My hand came off his and when I turned around I felt his hand touch my hand causing tiny little sparks to go through out my body. I started to look to my mom when I found her, she was standing by the table.

I walked up to her and said, "hey mom?"

My mom turned around and said, "hey, I need your help on setting the food up. I was planning on doing something like this."
