Bound To You- [R.C]

✧*̥˚Chapter 24*̥˚✧

RAFE AND I MAKE OUR WAY back to his house so I can start getting ready to see the pogues.

"You sure you're okay with me going and seeing the pogues?" I ask Rafe. I'm applying some lipgloss in the mirror, still in my baggy tee and jean shirts from earlier.
"It's your birthday Eve you do whatever you want, just be back before seven." Rafe answers me, smiling.
"Okay. Love you." I say, kissing him before I leave.

I finally make it to John B's house by foot and knock on his door.
"There she is, there's the birthday girl!" JJ shouts, pulling me into a hug.
I smile as I break away, making my way to join the others outside.
"Hold on one second." JJ says, grabbing my hand.
"What's up?" I ask him, confused.
"I want to give you my gift." He says, smiling at me.
"Okay." I say, feeling special with all my gifts today even though I hate birthdays.

I'm waiting in the lounge when JJ walks in with a wrapped gift. I smile at him as he hands it to me.
I unwrap the paper to reveal a handmade bracelet filled with my favourite colours and different charms entwined in it. My heart melts as I imagine him sat threading the beads along to make it for me.
"Thank you so much." I say, pulling him in for a hug. I place the bracelet on my wrist, admiring it.
"Each charm has a meaning, I chose them out specifically." JJ tells me, spinning around the bracelet to show me each charm.
"Love you." I say, hugging him again.

We make our way out to the rest of the pogues and I help myself to a can of coke.
I tell them about what Rafe bought me and how I spent my day before they all want to give me their gifts.

It gets to six o'clock and I decide to head back to the Cameron's house to get ready for wherever Rafe is taking me.
I say my goodbyes to the pogues and start walking back to Cameron's house.

I LET MYSELF IN ONCE I GET to their house and run upstairs to start getting ready.
"Hey." I say, walking into Rafe's bedroom.
"Hi." He answers me, his face lighting up as he sees me. I walk over and kiss him on the lips. He grabs my hand, pulling me in for another. I place my leg over his, straddling him as I lean in to kiss him. Rafe breaks away the kiss to pull my top off but I stop him before we end up late for this reservation.
"I need to get ready." I say, climbing off of him.
He rolls his eyes, pulling me back in for another kiss. I peck him on the lips before dashing away to get ready.

I decide to wear a white ruffle hem dress with some gold jewellery and black sandals. I apply some natural makeup before walking downstairs to meet Rafe. I cringe as I'm walking down feeling his eyes on me. I look at him as he clutches his hand to his heart.
"Wow." He says, holding my hand and twirling me round. I can't stop grinning.

"Gold jewellery? You never wear gold." Rafe whispers to me as he sees the necklace i'm wearing.
"Special occasion." I say, smiling at him.
"That R for me?" He says, smirking as he looks at my necklace.
"No I actually ordered an E but they sent me the wrong one." I say, smirking at him.
He nods his head, "Sure."

We pull up outside of the restaurant and Rafe hops out of the jeep, walking around to open the door for me.
"Such a gentleman." I say, smiling at him.
"Of course." He says, intertwining my fingers in his.

"She'll have the salmon please." Rafe says and I roll my eyes at how predictable I am.
"And he'll have the cheese burger." I say, teasing him back.

"What are you staring at?" Rafe asks me, his eyes glistening in the dark lit room.
"You. I can't believe how lucky I am." I answer him, wondering what I did to deserve him.
"You're lucky? Have you seen yourself?" Rafe says, shocked.
I waft him off, rolling my eyes.

The dreaded question comes as I take a sip of my lemonade.
"Have you heard from your mum?" Rafe asks.
"No." I say, not wanting to talk about my parents right now.
Rafe realises and changes the subject immediately.

WE GET THE BILL after sharing a slice of chocolate fudge cake and make our way back home. We blast our favourite songs on the radio, singing our hearts out.
