You wake up to soft rain hitting against your windows, a small bit of light shining through the clouds and into your bedroom. You smile a bit to yourself, remembering how much your boyfriend Sebastian loves rainy days, he must be really happy right now. You get up from your comfortable bed and get ready for the day.
Since it's raining, you don't have to worry about watering your plants, so you plan to just hang out with Sebastian today. You grab your umbrella and head out to the mountains. After quite a bit of walking, you get to 24 mountain road, you always get a sense of nostalgia here, maybe because the house was built from scratch by Robin. As soon as you walk in you smell the fresh scent of wood and..chemicals? You chuckle a bit to yourself, knowing that Maru and Demetrius are probably doing an experiment right now. You walk over to Robin, "Good morning Robin." you say, giving her a warm smile. "Good morning Y/N! I'm guessing you want to see my son." Robin says, lifting her eyebrows at the end of the sentence. You feel your eyes widen and a bit of warmth in your face, she laughs at that and says, "He actually just left not too long ago, he's probably just exploring the caves." You relax, then thank Robin, and before heading out you wave to Maru and Demetrius who are indeed doing an experiment. They all wave good bye with smiles on their faces.
You open your umbrella and start walking over to the caves, but before you could get there you see a hunched silhouette near some bushes. You immediately tense up, not expecting any one to be there, before you could do anything the silhouette turns around and turns out to be Sebastian! "Oh! Hey Y/N.." he says, he then stands up and shakes the dirt off his pants. "Jesus Christ Sebastian you scared the hell out of me.." you say, letting yourself relax. "What are you even doing here? I know you like rainy days but you don't even have an umbrella!" you say, concern laced in your voice. Sebastian looks at you wide-eyed, he didn't think that you we're worried for him. "I'm fine Y/N, I just like rainy days because on these days the frogs come out." he admits, feeling guilty for making you worry. "The frogs?" you say, tilting your head to the side confusedly. "Yeah..I guess I just have a natural affinity for frogs, they like the rain and so do I." he says, looking over at the bushes again. "So..you're looking for frogs here in the bushes?" you ask, to which he nods before he hunches over a bush once more. This time, you walk over and do the same, putting your umbrella over both of you. He notices this and quietly thanks you. "So now do we just wait?" you ask, looking over at him. "I think if we shook the bush one might come out.." he says, putting his hand on his chin, looking focused. You couldn't help but laugh a bit of how focused he was trying to catch a frog....a frog.
He explains to you how he wants to catch a frog that might be in this bush. After a bit of convincing, you close your umbrella, letting the rain hit you both softly. He tells you to crouch on one side of the bush, ready to catch the frog. He then goes on the other side of the bush and prepares to shake it. "Okay, on the count of 3. 1...2....3!" He shakes the bush and out comes hopping a small green frog. You quickly cup your hands around the creature and scoop it up. "I did it!!" You yell enthusiastically. Sebastian runs from the other side of the bush and crouches down next to you with the biggest smile on his face. You slowly open your hands and see the tiny green frog. "Awh..look at the little guy." Sebastian says, beaming. You look over at him and put your hands on top of his, gesturing for him to hold the frog. "You we're the one that wanted to catch a frog after all right?" you say, tilting your head to the side once more, with a big smile. He excitedly cups his hands underneath yours, to which you slowly put the frog in his hands, he gawks at the small thing and holds it so gently, as if he was going to break it. "Seb, you're not going to hurt the frog." you say, putting your hand on his cheek, he looks up at you and nods. "I know, but still.." he says. You both sit there for a few moments and then decide to let the frog go.
You look at Sebastian, he has a sad smile on his face. You then lean on his shoulder, "Seb, if it's raining tomorrow we could try to catch another frog.." you say, looking up at him. He looks at you and gives you a big smile, "You would do that for me?" he says. "Of course, If it makes you happy then I would do it a million times over just for you." you say, leaning over to grab your umbrella and open it above you two. He just looks at you, lost for words. "Seb?" you ask, to only get cut off with a gentle kiss on the lips. "I love you Y/N, I really do.." he says, wrapping his arms around your waist. You sigh, "I love you too Sebastian.." you say, leaning back in for another kiss.
