While Vincent was in the Forgotten Capital, Kadaj was taking a hike to the Northern Crater with Loz and Yazoo. They went there and back, and Yazoo checked on Aerith.
"Umm, Kadaj?" Yazoo said, concerned. "The girl isn't there."
"What?!" Kadaj shouted. "What do you mean 'not there'?"
"She's gone." Yazoo said. "See for yourself."
Kadaj pushed Yazoo aside and looked, just to see broken shackles on the ground.
"WHAT?! HOW?!" Kadaj shouted. "Loz! Get your cry baby ass over here, now!"
Loz walked over and slapped Kadaj.
"Don't call me a cry baby, Kadaj." Loz said, angrily.
"We need to find Aerith, and bring her back. Sephiroth said so." Kadaj said.
They then got on their motorcycles and sped off to Edge.
