Chapter 19 - One-Winged Angel (Player: Sephiroth)

Cloud gasped.

"Good to see you, Cloud." Sephiroth said.

Cloud got into battle position as Sephiroth descended to the ground. He raised the Masamune and charged at Cloud. Cloud ran at Sephiroth, and the two swords clashed. They continued to fight as the Highwind came overhead.

"He can beat Sephiroth." Cait Sith said. "He's done it before."

"But it's been two years!" Yuffie exclaimed. "How do you know he's still got fight in him?"

"He took out Kadaj, Loz and Yazoo that day in 7th Heaven." Red XIII said. 

"This is Sephiroth we're talkin' about, Red!" Barret said. "Sephiroth's significantly stronger than those three combined!"

"I know he can do it." Aerith said. "He's still got a fighting spirit inside him."

"He knocked the wind out of Kadaj with one swing of his sword." Tifa said. 

"Hm." Vincent hummed. "He can fight. I saw it in him when he first fought Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo."

"Yeah!" Cid shouted. "Kid's still got some fight in him!"

Cloud and Sephiroth kept on fighting. If Cloud would knock Sephiroth down a bit, Sephiroth would definitely get him with an equally strong hit. This went on for a while, until they both swung and clashed their swords.

"Hm." Sephiroth hummed as they jumped back. "I have a wonderful present for you, Cloud. All wrapped up and ready for a special occasion."

"I don't want your gifts!" Cloud shouted, as he swung at Sephiroth.

Sephiroth ran and jabbed Cloud through the arm. Cloud cried out in pain.

"My present for you is a special one." Sephiroth said. "Shall I give you despair?"

Sephiroth jabbed at Cloud again and again, until Cloud fell to his knees, dripping blood.

"Hm." Sephiroth hummed "That's right. On your knees. I want you to beg for forgiveness."

"No!" Aerith shouted from the Highwind. She dropped to her knees, and the area around her started to glow. Everyone watched. Then, down below, the area around Cloud started to glow.

"What... is this..?" Sephiroth said, puzzled. Suddenly, Cloud was healed, and he stood back up. Sephiroth scowled, and tried to attack Cloud. Cloud dodged, and hit Sephiroth a few times before he started glowing blue. He ran forward and hit Sephiroth with the Fusion Sword. Then, the sword split into its six parts. 

"Goodbye, Sephiroth." Cloud said, as he preformed Omnislash Version 5. He struck Sephiroth many times, before slamming him into the ground with the final blow.

Sephiroth got up, and ascended, even though he was fading away.

"Stay where you belong," Cloud said. "In my memories."

"Hehehe..." Sephiroth chuckled. "Oh Cloud... I will... never be a memory..." and he faded away and turned back into Kadaj. He fell to the ground, as Cloud walked towards him.

"Brother..." Kadaj said, slowly, as he was dying. "Mother... is taking me back... to the Promised Land..." He then slowly faded away as Cloud looked up at the Highwind. Inside, everyone was cheering for Cloud.

"I knew he could do it!" Cid exclaimed.

"That's my boy Cloud." Cait Sith said. "You're the Chips and Gravy."

"He just needed a little motivation!" Tifa said. While everyone was cheering, Aerith looked down at Cloud.

"I knew you would defeat them..." Aerith said quietly.

When Cloud saw everyone partying, he swung his sword around in a circle seven times and placed it against his back. Right after he did, there was a gunshot, and Cloud dropped to his knees.

"Cloud!" Aerith exclaimed. 

He looked up, as Yazoo and Loz walked up to him slowly, as they were also dying.

"We... go together." Yazoo said.

"Together, we play..." Loz said. Cloud stood up, and charged towards them. He swung at them, and they tried to hit him, which resulted in a massive explosion because logic. Everyone in the Highwind rushed towards the window.

"Cloud..." Aerith said.
