Trudging through the muddy puddles of London's streets Todd's boats slapped up the rain water as he began to run down the cobbled roads. He ran quickly seeing a bunch of guards on horses gallop past. He had been right, London was no longer safe for him and the baker, news of Turpin's disappearance had spread around London like a nasty illness. Everyone knew about it, everyone was talking about it and everyone had different suspicions on what might have happened to him.
He had been in London two days now and had been hiding in the shadows and dark alleyways his whole time. He had little money on him just enough to eat but he had been sleeping rough. He just couldn't find that damn boy!
Sweeney Todd had been to a few different workhouses but there was no site of Toby, like he had vanished. If it were left to him he would have given up and retuned back to his family but Sweeney knew how heartbroken Nellie would be if he didn't bring him home. Therefore he kept searching in hope he could find the bloody child and be out of London.
Pulling his leather coast tighter around his body Sweeney shivered as the rain patted down against him. It was bloody freezing and late, he was tired and sore from walking all day. He needed to rest and try again tomorrow...
For now he needed some shelter, sleeping in the rain wasn't an option and for that he headed out of the dark alleyway and towards the bustling night life of London city. Pubs, restaurants, brothels we're all open for business on this dark and wet night and people were everywhere...
Keeping his head low Sweeney came across a small B&B and knowkced on the door. The old owner answered the door with a deep frown on his face. "It says we're full" the old man pointed to the sign and shut the door on Sweeney much to his anger.
A whistle sounded and Sweeney turned to see one of the whores waving him over. He frowned and walked over nonetheless to the blonde petite woman.
"Ya lookin for a warm bed sir?" She winked making him simply scowl at her in disgust.
"A bed for myself yes" he muttered not understanding why on earth he was talking to her.
"Ow much ya got on ya?" She asked crossing her arms under her large pushed up breasts.
"I'm not staying here"
Laughing the woman shrugged her shoulders "you ain't gonna find anywhere else this time of night dearie, but ave it your way and freeze ta death" as she was about to return back inside he grabbed her arm and shoved a new notes in her grubby hand.
"I better not be disturbed" he said lowly his dark eyes making her nervous.
"Follow me" she gulped before leading him in.

Through tired eyes Mrs Lovett lit a candle downstairs in her aunts kitchen. The whole cottage was silent as everyone was sleeping, except she couldn't; not when knowing Sweeney was roaming the streets of London. It had to be dangerous, the law would certainly be looking for the Judges murder and it wouldn't be so hard to lead it back to the pie shop or the barber shop for that matter.
Sitting alone at the dinner table Mrs Lovett cupped her hands around the small cup of tea she had made her self and squeezed her eyes closed. She wanted this to be over now, her worry was what had kept her up at night...
"Can't sleep either?" Came the soft voice of Johanna who stood in the door way of the kitchen dressed only in her nightgown.
With a sympathetic smile towards the baker the young girl headed in to comfort her lovely guardian. Hugging her around Mrs Lovett shoulders from behind she felt the woman's hand rest delicately on her arm. "Fathers going to be okay Nellie" she whispered by her ear hearing the baker sniffle. She was clearly very emotional and sad over this whole thing.
