[ heesoo's pov]

it's been a month since jake lived here. and although he's been annoyed the hell out of me with those stupid cringy flirting, he would always focus on studying.

and since it's saturday, most of my girls are busy with their activities.

haein's been busy with her ice skating class with sunghoon while yuna's been busy with her cheerleading.

and me... i'm not an athletic person so i'm stuck at home with this annoying ass.

i'm now making myself some breakfast-

"good morning, cupcake" i heard him said and opened the fridge.

i rolled my eyes while trying to ignore him but he just couldn't stop ugh

"stop calling me that" i said sternly and continue making my breakfast.

"are you making it for me too?" he asked... kinda cutely with sparkled eyes.

i try to stay calm and reply, "no"

"why?" he asked as he put his head on my shoulder.

nu-uh. no.

"can you please stop?" i asked while flipping the pancakes.

"i'll stop if you make me some" i can feel his smirk as he talked.

"ugh ok, i'll do some for you. now move" i pushed his head and continue to make the pancakes.

i slightly take a look at what he's doing and seems like he's currently cleaning the dining table.

oh, don't tell me he's gonna eat with me.

"cupcake i'm done cleaning the table so that we can eat together~" he said and walks to me.

gosh, why must he be this cute?

once i'm done making the breakfast, we went to the dining table to dine in our food.

"i'm gonna watch some barbies while eating this~" i said happily while turning on the tv.

while i'm searching for great barbie movies, jake took my plate and his to snapped some pics.

"oh cute! 'cuteass pancakes made by my cute little precious cupcake'" i heard him say while giggling.

i look at him panicking and snatched his phone, "what the fuck jAKE FUCKING DELETE THIS-"

"baby chill, i posted this on my close friend list. you should check it out. it's cute" he said and take back his phone from me.

i sit back down quietly and decided to ignore him and eating my breakfast while watching barbies.

"are you seriously gonna watch this-"

"if you hate on barbie, get the fuck out of here" i said and turn up the volume.

"geez, calm down, lady. i'm just joking" he playfully rolled his eyes and eat the breakfast.

"mmHHHMMMH THIS IS SO GOOD" he said- more like shouting as he keeps on nodding his head and eat the pancakes.

"omg really?!" i asked excitedly while he just nods and ruffles my hair...

making my heart pounding...

i decided to keep my calm and cleared my throat, "enjoy eating then" i said and continue to eat.

"this is the best, the fluffiest pancakes i ate. thank you, love" he pinched my cheeks and shoved some pancakes into his mouth.

at this point, i don't even know if this guy is flirting or complementing.

i take a deep breath before nodding my head,
"you're welcome. now eat it quietly and stop being flirty before i kick you out" i said and manage to hide my inner happiness.

[ jake's pov ]

once we're done eating, heesoo went to take a shower while i'm sitting in the living room while watching some random youtube videos.

it's actually not a boring day for me as i got to 'spend' some time with heesoo.

thanks to her two friends and my friends, we are both stuck today.

an hour later, i saw heesoo went to the kitchen with her towel wrapped around her head.

she looks so ethereally beautiful with her barefaced. even when she goes to school, she would always wear light makeup. even her lips are naturally blushy.

i'm jelly jelly.

"princess" i called her making her turn around.

"can we..." i pursed my lips and stand up, walking near her.

"what" she annoyingly replied while taking a sip of her chocolate milk.

"...can we do our homework together?" i asked as she just looks at me weirdly.

"why?" she asks, raising an eyebrow.

"because-"

"because you want to disturb me while i'm studying? you want to flirt with me while we were studying? you-"

"i just want to spend some time with you" i cut her making her slowly nodded.

"get ready then. i'm going to the library at 2. you're late then bye" she said and left me.

i turn around and look at her slowly disappear from my sight.

is this a date?

i smiled to myself and quickly went to my room and get ready.
