it's been a month since jay playing hockey with his new teammates. despite being awkward sometimes when he holds the stick, he still manages to put a smiling face on the coach's face.

yuna and her team, on the other hand, are still practicing hard for creating chants for the hockey teams.

after all, both her cousin and crush are there. she wants to show tons of supports and love to both of them.

"jay!" yuna waved while running to meet his cousin during her break time.

"oh hey, are you on a break now?" he asks, panting as hands on his knees.

yuna hummed in response then helped jay by removing some dirt on his pants.

"hi yuna" keeho smiled and waved shyly. yuna pursed her lips then waved back at him.

"ah right, i bought drinks for y'all. here" yuna passed the plastic full of can drinks to jay.

jay turns around while showing them the drinks, "guys!"

the boys quickly ran to jay while grabbing each other a drink while thanking yuna. yuna just nods shyly as she takes a step near jay.

"how's your practice?" jay asked as they sit at the bench with keeho beside yuna.

"it was fine. some of them are pissing me off. it's annoying" yuna whined and sip her drink.

"well, you're a captain of the team, right? do your shit. just scold them if you need too" keeho said while eyeing her from head to toe.

yuna nodded, "they aren't listening. well, maybe if jay's there then they would listen to me." she rolled her eyes and sighed.

"then let me talk with them. this isn't fair. wait here" jay stands up then left.

both yuna and keeho are now sitting quietly while sipping their drinks, not knowing where to look.

keeho clears his throat, "w-we're actually classmates, right?"

yuna looks at him then nodded, "yeah... yeah we are" she smiles then looks away, feeling slightly shy.

"um i really wanna talk to you before but i'm just too shy" keeho said, covering his red cheeks.

yuna was taken aback by the sudden confession and just chuckled, "i guess we're the same" she replied and leave a breath.

"can we get to know each other more?" keeho asked, sounded braver than before making yuna slightly shy before nodding her head.

"sure"

"let's exchange our numbers first," she said then take out her phone. keeho did the same as the both of them exchanged their numbers.

jay look from afar and noticed that yuna finally talked to keeho which made him extremely happy.

'guess they aren't that bad together'

the next day, both jay and yuna decided to take a rest from practicing since they've been practicing since late at night.

so they went to their class, studying instead of practicing in the fields.

hours passed and it's finally lunchtime as both yuna and jay went to the canteen to meet with the others.

their class is a bit further than the rest of them so it took a while to reach the canteen. the two just casually talk to each other while yuna fangirling over keeho and told him they had exchanged their numbers yesterday.

"i'm happy for you. keep it up, cousie" jay ruffles yuna's hair then placed his arm around her shoulder.

"oh when are you gonna tell the others about the game?" yuna asked while looking up at her cousin.

"i'll tell them later. you didn't tell anyone about this, right?" he asks as yuna just nodded her head.

"you told me to not tell anyone. so i'm keeping it a secret. but it's been a month since you joined the team. might as well tell them before they knew about the game" yuna continues.

[ jay's pov ]

"jay~" heesoo called me and hugged me.

"hey beautiful, where are the others?" i asked while look for the members.

"oh both heeseung and sunghoon aren't in school today. sunghoon didn't feel well while heeseung... he's probably playing games until late night" she sighed as i just chuckled.

"that's your brother right?" i laughed then pinched her cheek. she shrugged and sighs.

"you look cute with your pigtails today" i said while holding her pigtails.

"heeseung dared me to do it last night. i even got picked from jake. it's annoying" she rolled her eyes and queued next to me.

i laughed, "what did jake say that pisses you off so much?" she frowned before clearing her throat.

"'cuPcAke yOu loOk liKe a nERd iN thAT hAirsTyle' then he laughed while keep on pinching my cheeks" she whined while placing her head on my shoulder.

i just laughed while hugged her. she is just too cute to handle. and i think i just exposed myself for being a simp.

"well beautiful, guess jake just wants your attention" i winked.

"ugh whatever let's go" she takes one of the trays and walks away. i quickly followed behind her and sit right next to her.

while we were all eating, we talked about a random topic not until yuna kicked my foot, signaling me to tell the others about the 'thing'.

"uh girls," i called them as they both kept quiet and look at me.

"i got something to tell you guys"

"is it something special?" heesoo asked while placing her head on the table, eyes on me.

"uh.. i don't know. i don't think so actually but i joined the school hockey team last month and i'm also participating a hockey match for this summer." i scratched my nape while nervously playing with my hair.

"what?! that is something special! omg congratulations!" heesoo side-hugs me and chuckling.

"that's great news. we know you can do well." haein smiled.

"well, i wanted to tell you guys about this earlier but i'm just scared-"

"tch about what?"

"i don't know. i just thought that y'all might make fun of me..."

"park jongseong, why would we make fun of you? hockey isn't an easy game. well, at least for me" heesoo shook her head then munched her cookies.

"so... are we all now busy? sunghoon and i are busy with ice skating, yuna is busy with her cheerleader, you're busy with hockey.... and what about you" haein tilted her head while looking at the heesoo.

"well, heeseung's probably doing some streaming shit or sumn like that" heesoo rolled her eyes.

"and i'm studying" she shrugs.

"well, we still got four to five more months to study..." yuna silently speak while eyeing somewhere else.

"well yeah but i hate panic studying. by the way, if i got any example papers i'll share them to the group." she said excitedly and standing up.

"i'm gonna go now. see y'all later babes" she waved then walked to her class.

"let's get to class, cousie" i stand up and walk to yuna. we sent haein to her class then went back to our class.

at least today wasn't a tiring day.
