SO WE'VE EXPLORED the curse of the blood god, paving the difficulties in techno's life. however, we should not forget about his twin brother, wilbur.

honestly, life with wilbur was great. he got along very well with techno, and they grew up practically attached to each other, going out into the city by their father's permission and running around from shop to shop to cause harmless trouble.

of course, in this society, wilbur would be more accepted than techno since he's human. however, that didn't stop him from always caring for and standing up for techno. they both loved each other dearly like the brothers they were, and promised to help each other out no matter what. even when tommy and tubbo came into the family picture during their elementary school years, they included the two non-biologically related boys as their brothers. after all, family was a very important aspect of wilbur's life.

there were many summer nights spent by the campfire with the four brothers, wilbur strumming a guitar while techno told stories of greek myths he'd been reading on. everything was blissful as far as that point in time when phil would finally discover what wilbur's curse was.

WILBUR—AGE ELEVEN—staring with glimmering eyes at the emerald he found on the school playground. he happened to come across a patch of dirt that looked like it had something buried underneath it. using his small hands, he dug it up, dirtying his clothes in the process. but it was definitely worth it.

it was his very first emerald he ever owned—and he found it without mining! wilbur brought it home and showed it to everyone, admiring it and putting it on a subconscious pedestal above him, despite it being a materialistic item. hell, phil would've easily given him one if he just asked. but of course, wilbur went above and beyond, and made the emerald his good luck charm.

he'd carry it around in his book bag, hoping it would make him work harder in school, and hold it whenever he trekked around the recess field. there was one particular day though when a random kid came up to him on the playground and stole the emerald because of a dare, taking the precious green mineral and running with it, sticking their tongue out.
