ACT III SYMBOLISM.
✑overall,most of the symbolism is within the past arcs.
the main theme within the past arcs and of act iii's title is based off of an album called Everywhere At The End Of Time (also referred to as eateot). eateot is a six hour long album/collection of albums that includes six albums that represent the six stages of dementia. like i've said in the past arc symbolism page, i do not recommend listening to the album if you're in a bad mental state or if you have a fear of forgetting people [i've personally listened through it and had to take breaks in between because i felt anxious as the stages got worse. it is a really interesting album though. i recommend it especially if you know a thing or two about dementia. it simulates that through sound and it's just really unique to listen to]
act iii's title (an empty bliss beyond this world) is actually a song from stage 3 of eateot.
✑ on the flip side of the soundtracks, i'd like to dedicate the soundtracks from chapter xvi and chapter xvii (pothead by thomboi, lo vas a olvidar by billie eilish ft. rosalía) to the characters, and anyone going through similar experiences to king or y/n.
fun fact: i actually based king and y/n's characters off of me and some qualities of my close friends (plus i was also inspired by the characters in euphoria). it was nice to write it all down and construct something that felt personal to me. the soundtracks are songs that i've listened to non-stop especially through middle school when my friends and i have had some weird ass experiences with some of our peers using drugs and it was all stressful at the time, and that's when i started writing a lot [wow cool origin story author!].
so overall, i am grateful for my self expression, my friends, and for you guys for your support and reading. thank you<3
