LET'S STEER INTO a different path. wilbur and techno—the biological children of phil and kristen—had their curses, and that translated into their childhood and onwards. the one human and other hybrid who didn't get cursed, however, were tommy and tubbo—the clingy duo. how did tommy come about?
it first began with the infamous [insert the name of a shipwreck here. istg if y'all say the titanic-] shipwreck on the edge of the smp, and the sole survivor known as captain puffy. she woke up with a concussion, not remembering anything that happened with her now dead pirate comrades. although she could only find a remnant of an old diary, which drove her towards what her destiny was: to be a mother.
puffy did figure out some tad bits of information through the diary: she had a lost mother of her own—the very reason why she wanted to be a mother herself, she was in pursuit for treasure, and that her family had some type of curse. although it seemed like that curse didn't really carry through to her side, therefore, she ignored it.
in her early days, puffy got proper medical treatment for her concussion and went off on her own to study psychology, obtaining a doctor-it, some degrees, and a psychology license in order to open up one of the first therapy centers on the smp. from there, her reputation gained a lot of traction within the psychology community, becoming the first woman to publicly speak and educate others on the topic, and encouraging a lot of organizations to start up to help those with mental problems of any sorts.
however, it was a short-lived fame—burning out as psychology started being viewed as an industry and a field of science in itself, setting stone a powerful yet unspoken legacy. puffy's business started to go down bit by bit, and there was no real use for it. so she decided to switch up her job, not necessarily her career path entirely. instead, she worked at [insert the name of a high school here] high school as one of the counselors.
her obvious experience in psychology and the way she treated everyone got her the job for a very long time. she liked being able to help students and had a lot of people come in to talk to her. of course she had to deal with her fair share of misbehavior and misconduct because of ruined families, but nevertheless, she did help a lot of young teens and became a role model for other aspiring women going off to college, even if it didn't feel like it.
however, one experience ended up in a roller coaster of events, and luckily, an avoided scandal. puffy ended up having a kid on the job. with who you may ask? we don't really talk about it. puffy's destiny was to be a mother right? she did adopt a hybrid named michelle already. but with this new kid, she didn't have a good feeling about. she didn't think she could take it.
