"Gahhhhhh," Gaster said frustrated, he hated coming across roadblocks when he was working.
"You look like your contemplating hitting the counter with your head, please don't," a voice said gently, Gaster sulked a bit but did stop.
"Sorry dad, more supplies needed for the lab got blocked by the stupid war" Gaster told his foster father, the fire monster hummed thoughtfully as he served his foster children dinner.
"The supplies, was it for helping you create the blockers?" he asked thoughtfully.
"Yes, I'm so close on figuring a way to stop the humans from using mana gems," Gaster hissed angrily. The only thing he was happy about was that the mana gem mines were mines out now. And doubtful for more to form with the way the humans used it to yank out magic from the earth.
They still had way to many stockpiled though.
And due to that, the war dragged on and on.
Gaster had just been a baby bones, when this war began.
"At least you aren't working near her," Fuku grouched, and they all made a face.
Her being the queen of monster kind, who when behind walls and out of sight became the Queen bitch.
Gaster pitied Asgore, the King of Monsterkind had married her to keep the kingdom stable as the old king died.
He pitied him, truly he did.
Worse, in there marriage he knew Asgore had learned to care for his wife and maybe even love her one day.
Toriel... seemed to like him maybe, but she seemed to blame him for there marriage even though she had agreed to it. If not for the war, Asgore mostly likely would have divorced her and sought a mate to his liking and would be a good Queen.
Yet, only a few people saw Toriels real self only seeing the homely friendly queen who rules by Asgores side.
"Best keep it quiet, the Queen has a lot of supporters," Grillby reminded them, they both sighed.
"I'm going to report her to Asgore, if she freaking demands me to remake the dress one more time," Fuku scowled.
