LunarFlower693 I lied.
"Everything look good," Gaster muttered to himself as he overlooked the core readings for the last few days, he was summoning for hands to help with the work.
Today the labs were down to a skeleton crew, pardon the pun.. no.. not really. Today was a holiday for every monster, even himself but he wasn't feeling up to joining the crowds today.
Asriel and Chara would have loved the celebration.
As the bloom grew he found himself more tired, always exhausted and knew that he'd probably have to step down from work for awhile even before the baby bones was born from the bloom.
He wasn't happy that it took ten years for a bloom to grow fully, but since he was creating a child without a partner he supposed there was downsides to it. He'd found very little information on the subject, and still no clue why it was called a bloom and not a Bud. Wouldn't it make more sense to call it a bloom, you know when it bloomed to release the baby bones.
He walked across the final core room, where the cores... well core rested. He might have created it, but he got noxious looking down below. Secure fences surrounded it, which were always checked for any damages as no one wanted to fall in.
"I knew I'd find you down here..."
Startled Gaster spun around, his eye lights went small in shock.
"Queen Toriel!" he cried in shock.
"Why.. why do you do this," she cried.
"Toriel, this is a restricted area and dangerous. Lets move elsewhere, and you can tell me what you think I'm doing," he said calmly as he could, something was very very wrong with this situation.
"No.. you always spoil everything Gaster, your a freak of nature and an abomination," she screamed, Gaster felt shocked at the words coming out of her mouth.
She had never been a good queen, but to spill suck vomit?
"Toriel, please.. what is wrong?" Gaster tried again.
"Its always Gaster this, Gaster That. I thought I finally had my chance with perfect Chara, who wasn't flawed like Asriel. But no, even they preferred you. Why couldn't you have died like all the other skeleton monsters, aping humans weer all they were good for," she screamed.
She was insane.
By the Barrier, she'd finally flipped off the deep end.
He never saw her move, she was older and a Boss monster.
'But I never did anything to you' Gaster thought confused.
And Fell.
