Originally I had one more chappy planned, but this worked better
"No Papyrus, don't put it in your mouth," Sans said, gently pulling the item from tiny hands.
"Snas!" Papyrus protested making grabby hands.
"No Pappy, this isn't for you," Sans replied gently, the toddler whined a bit till something else caught there attention.
Sans smiled as Papyrus began playing with his stuffed bunny, babbling nonsense words as all beings did at that age.
It was tough being a single parent, especially in an extremely fragile body and having to work also to support there lives. Thankfully he had enough money put away from... before, that he didn't have to work full time yet. Enough till Papayrus was old enough to be left along a few minutes, and schooling.
Or at least the limited schooling Snowdin had.
The Bloom releasing itself had almost killed him, as his form was much smaller then his old and had to be forced from the rib space so Papayrus could be born. The cracking of his ribs still haunted his nightmares, but the cracking had healed.
It hurt that his tiny son, would never know that his 'brother' was there parent, this body of his too young and too small for children.
Too young...
It was still to young.
While skeletons aged slowly compared to many species, aka Papyrus being six years old and still in this stage his body still hadn't changed. While much of his knowledge was lost now, he could still do controlled testing on himself.
Sans wasn't aging.
He was stuck in a body just out of striped stage, that was always in pain and fragile.
And one HP.
And hadn't that been a horrible thing to discover,
"Snas Snas!" Papyrus cried, San smiled and picked up his son.
"Hey, how bout we go for a walk Pappy," Sans suggested, the child cheered happily.
It was on that walk he came across a door.
Unnoticed, a small yellow flower watched them walk about a confused look on its face.
