"A Human!" Gaster cried in shock.

And it was a shock, as he hadn't figured out how one would get across the barrier.

"Yes, Asriel was exploring and came across it. It seems the barrier will allow things to fall in, but not out," Asgore said gravely.

"Tell me what happened," Gaster said pulling out a recorder, he made a mental note to lug some machines over to take readings of the spot the human fell from. Asgore went over the details of there new house guest, pretending not to notice when Gaster froze briefly at the mention that the fallen human was a child.

"They only woke a few hours ago, there skittish which is understandable. I don't think they ever heard of monsters, which... means the results on the time dilation tests are correct," Asgore sighed, rubbing his face tiredly.

"Wonderful..." Gaster said sarcastically, some part of him had hoped the tests had been wrong.

"Actually I do need your help.." Asgore said sheepishly, Gasters eyes narrowed.

"And?" he asked.

"The child speaks a language none of us knows, and as a skeleton monster you know all languages and fonts," the king replied, Gaster sighed.

"Fine, I'll teach the child our language," he said sourly.

"Thank you my friend," Asgore said brightening the room with his smile, Gaster sighed again.

"Teaching a human a language, that I never saw something. So we know there name?" he asked.

"Chara, there name is Chara."
