Gaster tapped his hand across the page, frowning as he read over the results again.

It was a lot more promising then yesterdays, but could do better.

But still, better results were always better.

The underground plantations and farms were actually giving out more food, and while there was barely any magic in this mountain due to the seal there was a good chance they could start a few water farms in the newly discovered water like area of the underground.

He still didn't like the fact that the magic was so weak, and due to the low magic some of the weaker or much elderly monsters had... fallen.

The skeleton mentally swore at the humans who had trapped them here, from his calculations the amount of mana gems needed for the seal would have ripped out a lot of magic from the earth and used up the last of the gems.

He had only told King Asgore, that there may be time dilation between the underground and outside as time seemed to be going too fast from what they could see. From what he had calculated two years below, could easily two hundred years outside. Mind you, he was still studying it as the results showed that the dilation coudl become rather random.

Hopefully by the time they broke the seal, the magic of the land would have recovered and the humans would have learned to lessen there greed.

He doubted it.

"Ahh... Gaster," a kind voice said, the skeleton blinked and gave a tired smile.

"Asgore, how are you?" he asked the golden haired goat monster.

"Tired... stressed, some of the court finally got there wish," Asgore said quietly, Gaster sighed.

"Ah, so she finally agreed to an heir," Gaster replied.

"Yes, she fought every step," Asgore said, slumping down in the chair next to the scientist.

"She knew it was part of being Queen," he relied dryly, he used a summoned hand to pull another ream of notes to himself.

"If its a boy, will you be a guardian?" Asgore asked, startled Gaster dropped his notes.

"Me, a guardian... I would have thought you would have chosen Grillby?"he asked eye lights wide, a guardian was like a god parent was to humans but if parents perished would take on all rolls even feeding the child monster there own magic till they weaned.

"I was going to, then Toriel had a hissy fit. I do not know why she has such a dislike for Grillby," Asgore said bewildered, he leaned down to pick up some of the notes and blinked. "Oh! Whats this?"

"Oh, just an idea to help with magic levels and power," he mused "Its called The Core."
