That horrifying moment you go to update, and realize due to work and insomniac issues you didn't write the chapter yet. Bit shorter then I wanted, but I need more sleep

Gaster stared at his reflection in a confused aw, he held his bony up tempted to touch what was nestled inside the right side of his chest.

It looked almost liked a closed flower bud, only made of bone and close to his ribs.

But what made it special was what shone deep inside, a tiny soulling.

Apparently Skeleton monsters did not need mates, they could bloom.

Once the bone bloom was a certain size it would detach and open, revealing a baby bones.

Gaster really wished he had known this, but he was the only skeleton monster in the underground and his type had been rare even before that.

Once they had found out what was wrong, Fuku had told him she was best auntie for the baby. Grillby who was a softy for children had muttered about grandchildren. Asgore.. poor Asgore, had looked thrilled.

He'd had to much death, too much strife... and here was a miracle.

Then dibbed himself as Uncle.

"You going to have a big family kid," Gaster said with a small smile, the tiny soul pulsed in happiness.
