"Yeah, these are really popular," I say into the camera, spreading the nail polish out in front of me. "I mean the pranks, not the nail polish. But I guess nail polish is popular, too. Anyway, so, my boyfriend, C/n, is a heavy sleeper, so I'm gonna paint his nails! I'm thinking... blue and pink, maybe? And this'll be a great lead-up to my next prank, so stay tuned!" I click the camera off before sneaking into C/n's room and turning it back on. I make sure it's set on time-lapse before I grab his hand, getting to work.
I stick some stickers on his nails and get up, flicking the camera off and getting into his bed on the other side. He'd had a great game that night, but he was dead asleep, so I snuggle up to his warm body and fall asleep.

I stand from the bed and blearily rub my eyes, walking into the bathroom and getting dressed. I grab my camera and hold it under my arm, recording inconspicuously. I walk into the kitchen, where my boyfriend stands in front of the coffee maker, shirtless, a bit bruised from his game. Let's just say, there was a lot of tackling.
"Morning," C/n says, holding a mug and his phone. (Just that one picture of Tom Holland but he's looking at you) His voice is tired but husky, and I just about melt on the spot when he says, "I like my nails."
"What?"
"I know you did them," He murmurs, taking a quick sip of his coffee, "And I really like them."
"You do?" I can't keep the surprise out of my voice.
"Yeah. You did them for me, and you know I love everything you do for me," I drop the camera on the table and jump into his open arms, causing him to almost drop his coffee. "You're the best, baby."
"There's no way b'cuz you are," I whisper, looking up at him, my legs wrapped around his waist. He leans down to kiss me and flinches. "What? What did I do?"
"You didn't--" He falters when he sees the look on my face. "You pressed on a bruise."
"I'm sorry. Now, I'm gonna take care of you all day--"
"Y/n, I'm not really hurt,"
"I'm taking care of you, C/n. That's it,"
"Okay," He drags out as I hop down and lead him to the couch.
