Thea's POV

"Mommy! Mommy!" I hear Arabella call my name from somewhere in the house. I slip on my bracelet and make my way out of the bedroom. I walk down the hall, and turn the corner to her bedroom. Right when I walk in I am hit with a lively beautiful girl that is twirling in her dress.

"Mama look at me twirl." She says to me as she twirls in her pink dress. Her beautiful blonde locks are flying around.

I walk into her room more, "Guess what?" she asks me in her tiny voice. "What?" I say back to her. "One day mama, I'm going to be just like Uncle Xavier and Daddy. I'm going to be a princess by day, and then a shooter by night. Uncle Xavier even said he would be my partner." She said with a bright smile.

"Oh is that right? Did you know that Uncle Xavier and Daddy were once the coolest people ever. They used to drive around in big motorcycles, and they were the best of friends." I said to her in an intriguing tone.

"No way!" She said as she giggled and imagined something in that little head of hers. "I want to wear a cute dress for party today." She said as she came and got my hand.

"Arabella ,sweetheart, it's not really a party your aunts, uncles, and cousins are just coming over for dinner silly." I said to her, "I know mama, but Uncle Hunty said that whenever he is there it's a party. So it's a party Mama."

I laugh and hug her tight. "You are right. It's always a party when Hunter is there." I said to her, "No mama, his name is Hunty." She says with a chuckle.

"Let's go silly, they are going to be here soon." I say to her and she takes my hand in her and we walk out the door. We head down the steps, and turn the corner to the main hall. "Mama, do you ever miss daddy. I know I have never met him, but he seems really cool. Do you think we could take a trip to heaven to visit him? Just like we take trips to the beach." She says as she turns towards me with a smile.

I take a deep breath, "Baby, that is a great idea, but I don't think that we can visit him. I'm sorry." I say to her as tears start to sting my eyes. She sighs and looks down.

It hurts me every time she gets hurt over not being able to see Ezra. No amount of pain can match to seeing your child be upset over something that not even you can fix. I can't fix it because he's gone.

"But guess what, Bella, I know that he is looking down on us right now. He's smiling down on us with his hazel eyes just like yours." I say to her as we continue to walk.

I can tell that she is still sad, but usually after a while she gets over it.

I wish it were that easy.

Just as we are about to enter the living room she stops us. "Why do we never go in that room mama?" She asked me in a curious tone. I turn my attention to the room she is talking about and It's Ezra's office. My heart tightens even thinking about opening that door. I haven't gone inside since the funeral, and even if it has been four years I am still not sure if I am ready. "That's Daddy's office." I say to her, and she immediately gets excited. She lets go of my hand and heads over to open the door. "Wait!" I say to her, and she looks scared. "Was I bad? I just wanted to see." She says to me with a sad face.

I feel bad that I made her feel this way. That reaction was a surprise to me, and I never wanted to make her feel like it was her fault. I crouch down to her level and grab her hand, "No, baby I'm sorry. This is just hard because I haven't been in here ever since daddy left. I think It would be a great idea to go in though if you would like." I say to her as a little tear trickles on my cheek.

"Don't worry mama. I'll hold your hand. I won't let you go. " She says to me as she brushes a tear off my face. She grabs my hand and turns the knob on the door. Immediately I am hit with his smell. It still lingers throughout the room. I look around the room and it feels cozy and safe like he is still here with us.
