Thea's POV

I dozed off after Ezra's and I's activities and I woke up with him not by my side anymore. I suspect he went back to working, but I was trying to get him away since he has been so stressed lately.

I lay in the bed and silently thought to myself how my life has changed in the past six months. Ezra and I have been dating for five months, and I feel like things are going so fast. The thing is that I am usually hesitant when people move too fast, like things are out of my control. Surprisingly though I am the happiest and calmest I have ever been. I don't want to say it out loud though because I feel like things are going too well, and I don't want anything to ruin it.

Please don't ruin it, Thea.

I get out of my thoughts, and I prop myself up and drag myself out of bed. "Fuck" I curse out. I guess I might be a little sore. I manage to walk into the closet and pick out some workout clothes.

I was about to slip on workout clothes, but my body was still a little sore so I guess we are going to be doing something else.

As I'm thinking of something else to do I hear my phone buzz. I wobble over to pick it up and it reads ,Valerio Bitches, our infamous group chat. What do these shit heads have to say now?

Anastasia: Meet me at the pool, our mission got cancelled today we are free.

Me: Alright, I'll meet you at the pool in a little.

Alex: I can't. I have a meeting, but I'll stop by after.

Riven: POOL PARTY BITCHES!

Hunter: POOL PARTY SLUTS!

Anastasia: PARTY TIME!

Me: guys we are having a party by ourselves.

Hunter: Thea those are the best parties, shut the fuck up.

I threw my phone back on the bed and got ready.

I was finally ready and settled with one of my favorite swimsuits. I collected all of my stuff and headed down to the pool house. The pool house is down from the house so it was just a little walk that I had to take.

I could already hear them blasting music and Hunter screaming his lungs out. "Hey bitch!" Riven said to me as he jumped from the diving board. They can be serious when they need to, but they always know how to have a good time.

I open the gate and I'm hit with the water from Rivens cannon ball. Hunter's splashing Ana in the pool, and Ana is trying to drown Hunter and she is slowly succeeding.

I plop my stuff down on the chair and take my covering off. I run over and push Hunter in the pool and jump in myself.

We hangout at the pool for a while and then make our way over to the hot tub. "Who the fuck are they" Ana said pointing at cars that just pulled into the driveway. We all turn our heads to see what she is talking about and I see a bunch of men get out of the car.

We watch them enter the house one by one. "I guess those are the people that are keeping Alex and Ezra held up." Hunter said, "Alex has a meeting with Dad somewhere else, so I guess it is just Ezra having the meeting." I say to them. We continue on with our conversations, but then I am suddenly interrupted with my phone buzzing.

I jump out of the pool quickly and see who needs me.

Ezra: Come into my office I have a question for you. (8:00 p.m)

Ezra: Thea where are you? (8:30 p.m)

I looked at the time and I realized that he texted me this thirty minutes ago. "I'll be back, Ezra said he needed me real quick." I say to them as I walk out the gate.
