Books and a bad boy

Chapter 13

I took my meds and rushed to class, still glowing from the activity with Kells. I burst into the classroom with my hair in a mess and everyone stared at me. "So glad you can join us Ms Brad, hope i didn't put you out of your way." I blushed and made my way over to Cassie. "What were you doing?" 

"Um last minute laundry." She narrowed her eyes at me and i looked away and smirked. I paid attention in class miraculously and took my time in leaving the class. If i don't watch it i'm gonna fail this term and lose my scholarsip. Fear rushed through me and i was tempted to call Kells and end it, but then the day's activites washed over me and i changed my mind. Was sex gonna be this addicting. I walked out class and out the building, thankfully it was half day thanks to some big faculty meeting. I caught up with Cassie "hey girly where ya going?" 

"Movies, want to come?" "Hmm, lets go to the beach instead." "Oh right, well, sure, i didn't think of that." 

I waited on campus for Cassie to get our stuff and opened my book. "Hey, thats my favorite book."

I looked up and a guy with shaggy brown hair was blocking my light, he moved and sat down next to me, "i'm Eric." "Ana." 

"You liking the book Ana?" "Yes loving actually, he brings out a side to characters i never knew possible." 

"I love him too" we chatted for couple minutes, "hey isn't that machine gun Kelly?" 

I looked to where he was pointing and saw Kells conversing with a girl." 

"Yeah." "guys a player, never really liked him, he dated my sister for a month and can't even remember her name." 

Kells leaned down and kissed the girl and my heart sunk. "The sad part is Eric, that we see it coming and still choose to fall for a guy like him." 

"You're talking like if you fell for him." He chuckled, i smiled, "nah, i barely know him." I closed my book and got up, "nice meeting you Eric, but i have to go." 

I started walking "wait, can i get your number?" 

I studied him, he was the kind of boy i oughta settle down with, but he didn't have tattoos and stood at 6'4, with a smile like a god. He was cute however, so i gave it to him. I walked off and bit my lip to keep from crying. I reached the apartment when Cassie was now leaving, i walked up to her and she studied me "you ok?" I shook my head and she hugged me, "i saw him kissing another girl." 

"But he's a player, you knew this was coming and you guys didn't do anything serious.. did you?" 

I sighed "i suppose not." I felt dead. Emotionless, i told my bestfriend to go enjoy herself, she didn't need anymore of my drama in her college life, i sat in front of the tv with a bowl of gummy worms. My phone rang and i answered it, "hi Ana, it's Eric, want to grab a bite to eat?" 
"Eric, come over." 

"I what? But-" I gave him my address and hung up. A few minutes later i heard a knock on my door, I opened it and let Eric in." We crashed on the couch and i gave him a beer. Two beers later, we were making out, i took my shirt off and he kissed my neck, "mm" i groaned, still better than my ex. The door burst open and we jumped, Kells stood in the doorway and he looked pissed. "what the fuck dude?" Eric shouted.  He looked at Eric and pointed behind him. "Leave!" Eric's eyes widened and he got up and rushed out. He slammed the door behind Eric and folded his hands. I scoffed and rolled my eyes, honestly so dramatic. 

"What the fuck Ana?! You barely know him!" 

"I'm crazy, legally and you're an asshole." He stared at me with a blank expression, i got up and poured myself cereal with milk and stared at him. "Are you talking about Elise?" 

"Whoever the fuck she is, no Kells, i'm talking about the million and fucking one, girls you use and rotate in your fucking sick cycle, and i'm the one whos mentally disabled!" I rolled my eyes, he ran his hands through his hair, "i admit i'm a bit of a screw up." I snorted "a bit." 

He punched the wall, and i jumped, "what the fuck Kells?" "You just get me so fucking frustrated cause i'm not supposed to care! And i don't know what to do cause   this has never happened before!" "Do that again." 

He stared at me "what?" I bit my lip, "punch the wall again." He walked over to me and took me in his arms, "you're fucking crazy," "i have medication." He kissed me and pulled my hair out of my hirband, it fell down to my waist, "don't ever cut it." He sniffed it and kissed the top of my head, he pulled away and kissed my forehead, he kissed my nose and then my cheeks, he gripped my chin and brought my lips to his. "I love you." He stiffened "what?" 

I looked up at him and my heart ached to see his expression, he didn't love me back. "I'm sorry, it slipped out." I pulled away "won't happen again." I went back to my cereal and turned my back so he wouldn't see the hurt in my face, i didn't need to, he walked out and slammed the door.
