Books and a bad boy

"Anna hurry up, they're about to start!"

"I know i"ll be out in a jiffy!" Easier said than done, i threw coffee all over my favourite blouse and now the biggest tour of my life was about to start and i was in the bathroom, with cheap tissue and a blow dryer.

"Look i'm gonna go ahead, meet me when you're done" Great now my best friend ditched me.

I sighed and moved the hair from my face. I looked in the mirror "you can do this Anna, you've prepared for this your whole life. Screw the blouse, go out there with a winning smile... and a huge coffee stain." My smile faded. I groaned and grabbed my bag. I pushed my way out the bathroom and joined the tour line.
"Smile"
"ugh, you're not the one with starbucks all over you"

Cassie, my best friend since the fifth grade, was with me, we both shared a dream of attending this college since we were children. The big H, Harvard, and now we were in their tour line! Cassie jumped up "i'm so excited!"

"Save your enthusiasm for the interview next week."

"Do you have to burst my bubble"

"Excuse me? But is this spot open?" We turned around and a cute guy with a colgate smile beamed at us.

"um, well um no its not" I rolled my eyes, Cassie had a weakness for sunshine guys, with a nice hairdo.

"Nice to meet you, i'm Mason"

"I'm Cassie and this is my bestie Anna" I offered a weak smile and turned around. I was not here for boys.

"Good day everybody, I'm Andrea Suttin, activity director here at Harvard. Why don't we get this tour started?" Cassie squealed and i bit my lip. We toured the grounds and campus, she showed us some sorritory houses and hang out spots. "this is where our students usually take a break, reading or studying on good weather days."

"This place is amazing Anna!"

"I know"

"Oh who is that?"

I turned towards my friend's disgusted expression and saw a tall guy coming towards us.

He got closer and smiled at us and nodded, before spinning around to Andrea. "We're out of milk aunt Annie"

"Oh kids, this is my nephew Kells"

"Sup?" he looked familiar.

"Do we know you?" i blurted out, everyone turned to stare at me and i blushed. He smiled at me and i blushed more "you might've heard of me, i rap"

"Oh yeah you're that rapper!" a kid blurted out "MGK!"

Andrea flushed red "Kells honey, heres twenty bucks, go to the supermarket."

He nodded and strolled off, i stared after him, i couldn't help it, he was very attractive. Okay, so maybe i had a thing for guys with cool hair and tattoos. He wouldn't be interested in me, i'm not his type. "Please don't tell me.." Cassie said

"No! Absolutely not, no boys this semester" She smiled "good"

The tour ended and we made our way to the hotel. I stared out the window and saw couple kids hanging out on the road corner, drinking.

"Ugh they're wasting their lives" said Cassie.

"I don't know Cas, you ever feel caged, like you're not living, like your lifes passing you by"

"Anna.. what are you talking about?"

"What? nothing its nothing." I bit my lip and continued to stare out the window.
