Books and a bad boy

Chapter 3

The next morning i woke up and did my usual routine, i spread the papers on the table and sipped coffee. There was a knock on the door and i got up to answer it. With my mouth full of bagle i greeted Kells. Holy shit. He smiled "hey sorry, my aunt wants a word with you and Cassie" 

"mhmmm"
"what?" i quickly swallowed "sure, We'll be right over"

"great" he winked and walked away. Cassie walked out yawning "who was that?"

"i just greeted the boy i like with messy hair and a mouth full of food"

"what'd he want?" "his aunt wants to meet us"

"Andrea! why?"

"Let me see after reading his mind, I don't know!"

"morning grouch" It was a warm day and we walked stalled alittle in walking to Andrea's office. When we got there she greeted us by the door and led us in. "anything to drink?" 

"no, thank you, we're fine" 

"The reason i called you girls in here is because i reviewed your profiles, and you have an impressive activtities resum'e, and your grades are excellent"

We smiled at each other "I don't usually do this but, i'm willing to have a meeting with the board regarding your interview, it just so happens you two won't even have to do the interview."

"oh my god thats great news!" Cassie exclaimed, Andrea smiled "but you have you two ever done anything fun, anything you can look back at when you're old and remember it as living"

My smiled faded "of course we have" Cassie said "good then you'll write an essay on that and submit by the end of two months, thats all you're dismissed"

we got up "not you Ms Brad, i'd like to have a word with you"

Cassie and i watched each other and then she left. I sat down, Andrea took off her glasses and regarded me "I sense you're going to have a hard time writing that essay" I bit my lip "is it that obvious?"

She laughed "i felt exactly like that when i was your age" 

"and what did you do about it?" She leaned over her desk and peered at me over her glasses "My nephew had to get his wild ways from someone" my jaw dropped and she laughed. 

"Look Anna you don't have to act like an adult all the time, its better to let loose once in a while"

"are you suggesting i hang with your nephew?"

"oh heavens no! Sweet child and i love him to death but hes more of a ... what do you kids say these days, quit it and hit it?" I stared at her and burst out laughing. She smiled weakly "my nephew was never one for good decisions, i don't fancy him fraternizing with one of our students, you don't need to do drugs to have a good time, i found that out when i woke up in a motel room with a man i thought was Johnny Depp." I laughed "are you sure you're supposed to tell me this?"

she laughed "i wouldn't if i didn't think you'd keep a secret" she winked "but i don't exactly approve of Richard's ways" I was confused for a minute "oh yeah thats his real name"

She waved her hand "Kells was always a girl name" I laughed, i really liked her. "If you're going to fall for him be careful." 

"Nope, don't worry bout me, after today, not gonna fall" how much warning did i need the guy's aunt practically warned me off him., i wasn't waiting for lightning to strike me. 

"Good girl" she smiled "now off you go" I got up and hesitated before turning around "thanks Andrea"

"anytime dear."
