The room was quiet for a second. But only one second. Rose wrapped her arm around my neck and I could barely breathe. She held the gun to my head and started calling Agent Blue's name.

"Jason! Jason I've got Agent-" she started but I interrupted her by elbowing her hard. She loosened her grip for a small second before tightening again. She was about to say something else when I did it again. This time I used the second she gave me to pull back my head and fling it backwards.

The back of my head hit her nose hard and she stumbled backwards. I quickly turned and kicked the gun out of her hand. It went sliding against the ground and across the room. Agent Rose held her nose.

Her eyes started watering and I used this to my advantage. I charged at her and pushed her down. Since I had pretty much just flung myself at her, we both went crashing to the ground.

Suddenly, there was a stinging feeling on my face. She slapped me. I shouldn't be too surprised. I guess I just thought that I could hold her down so she wouldn't attack me. I was wrong.

I punched her across her face and then the other way with the other fist.

"Stop!" A boy voice yelled. It was Agent Jason Blue. He had his gun in his hands.

Out of instinct, I grabbed Rose by the collar of her shirt and took out my gun. I did exactly what she was doing to me before. I made sure to press the gun hard to her head.

I stood up with her in my arm. She clawed at my arm but she had a disadvantage. Her nails were clipped and it felt like she was just grabbing onto my arm.

Agent Blue held up his gun at us but I used her as a shield. If he shoots, he will shoot us both. We stood staring at each other and Rose struggling in my arms.

"Where's Dan?!" I yelled and pressed the gun to her head. "Jason! Jase, help me!" She screamed. Then there was banging on the door behind us. I didn't flinch.

"You'll just have to find him." He smiled and made the mistake of lowering his gun a tiny bit. I groaned in anger and pointed the pistol at him. My anger got the best of me and I pulled the trigger, causing a loud bang to echo through the room.

Rose screamed out and tried to get away from me. I stared at his body standing there. He looked back up at me with his hands on his chest. When he removed them, they were stained in blood. Rose starting yelling and crying.

He collapsed to the ground and I held the gun to Rose's head again. "Shut up! Where's Dan?"

"You killed him! Y-you- he's-" she sobbed. I groaned. I started walking and pushing and bringing her with me. She fought back and I got annoyed.

I pushed her onto the ground and she instantly crawled over to Agent Blue. "Jase. Jason! Jason please!" She cried out and held onto his shirt. "Jason please wake up!"

I felt heartless just watching her hold his lifeless body. He was dead and it was my fault. I've killed many people before and for some reason, this felt no different. In fact, it felt good to kill him.

"You monster!" Rose yelled at me and rested her head on his chest. "Yeah, yeah. If you would have never kidnapped my love I wouldn't have killed yours." I stated like it was simple. She continued to cry.

"Just go." She whispered as her voice cracked, causing some of her words to go silent. "He's down that hall. Just... go. Go!" She pointed at the door. I was confused but I readied my gun and prepared for a trap. But there was none. It was a hallway with doors and hallways branching off of it.

I walked and looked at each door until finally I reached the end. There was Dan sitting in the last cell, chained up to the wall. I could see him through a window with bars attached to it. "Dan!" I yelled and tried to open the door. It was surprisingly unlocked and opened easily.

He looked up. He looked horrible. Some of his skin was red and bruised. Then some of it was bloody and ruined. He was even whipped. The recording crossed my mind and I felt a pang of sadness.

"Ashley.." His voice was rough. I smiled. I actually smiled. He can finally say my real name..

Then an alarm went off. The lights flashed red and a loud beeping sound went off over and over again. I ran over to Dan and pulled the chains off then helped him up. Then I heard voices outside the door but I ignored them all.

As I helped Dan up, there was Mr. Boss' voice ringing through my head. Dan was limping so I had to hold him up. The deal Mr. Boss made me echoed in my ears. Even my bloody one could hear it. There was no pushing it away.

"Agent Silent." Mr. Boss laughed like a maniac. "I will make a deal with you before you leave." He looked at me with hopeful eyes. "It's about your... freedom."

I took a step towards him. "Go on." He smiled wide as I said that and continued. "If you bring me $5,000,000... I will burn your agent contract and you will be free. Forever."

Sometimes I wonder if he was lying to me. But was it worth it? Would it be worth it? After all Dan and I have been through... to just... kill him?

I would still have money left afterwards - $2,000,000. I looked down at him. I dropped him as a gun shot echoed through the room. There was a pain in my stomach. Dan looked up at me with slight fear and worry in his eyes.

I was shot.

I held out my gun and shot at the doorway. My vision was blurry and my arm stung. My ear really hurt and I almost couldn't stand. My mind was turning and I couldn't focus. I turned to Dan with the gun still in my hands. I could still do what I had planned...

I realized my microphone was still on me and Savannah could still hear everything. I threw it to the ground. Dan looked at me with more fear then before. I could guess what was going through his head. I didn't hesitant to shoot someone and he knew I was sent to kill him..

My eyes darted between the microphone, Dan, and the doorway. My hands shook and I had a weird feeling in my stomach.

If I shoot the microphone, I lose contact with Savannah completely. If I shoot the doorway, I might be able to get out with Dan alive, but be executed later. If I shoot Dan, I get the money and I'm free from being an agent with no fear of being killed. But which one do I choose?

I steadied my gun and took a deep breath. I was going to shoot the one I thought was right.

I closed my eyes. "I'm sorry..."

Then I pulled the trigger.

Ahhh it's over!!! There will be an epilogue, an Author's Note, and maybe a sequel...

But what - or who - did she shoot?
