Xian clicked the power button to turn off his phone, done with the talk show. It was just stuff he had heard a hundred times over on different shows. All about that CCTV footage of his mask. Xian cursed himself inwardly every time he was reminded of it.
He never wanted to ever be seen, considering how pedantic he is about leaving evidence.

Xian perched himself on the edge of the building, pulling up his hood, pushing his hair back into it so that it wasn't in his face. The wind blew softly in his face, the faint scent of cigarettes making Xian curl his mouth.
He heard the low rumble of truck engines pulling in, steaming engines making it all too obvious where they were. He smirked a little, rubbing his hands on his arms from the cold and trying to avoid thinking about how he was getting hypothermia.
The heat? Fine, completely okay, barely even feels it.
But the cold, well...
Xian swept his legs over the edge, gauging how far down he had to jump before pushing off the frosted edge, his legs gently hitting the ground five meters below him, thanks to the soft snow breaking his fall and simultaneously hiding his steps.
God damn, he loved and hated winter.
He pushed open the door to the stairs, the cold air going stagnant as he descended down the stairs, listening as the hushed voices grow louder by the second.
'— Are you sure this is the last shipment?'
'Yes, now sign it already so we don't get caught.'
Xian pressed his back up against the wall, pulling up his mask and listening as the truck back opened up, ready and waiting for the rest of them to come.
He stood there, blood bursting in his ears, for what seemed like an eternity, just waiting to get his skinny ass caught. He could smell the cigarette smoke so clearly, the pungent BO and the sickening shitty deodorant that somehow only makes it worse.
Why do bad guy's either have to be really hot or literally the most disgusting people you've ever met? Make it make sense.
Xian heard the rumble of a smaller car engine coming up, his body going tense with apprehension as the car stopped, and the door opened, the sound of heavily plated soles hitting the cement, echoing out through the empty mall.
He looked out from the corner, the open car park area littered with people, all with guns and activated quirks, and a shiny black Benz, parked just in front of the back of a transport truck.
A shiver went down his spine as he watched the man pull the tux tight against his shoulders, a sickening smile on his face as he walked up to the thugs out front of the truck. A hero.
Xian knew he had to get to a vantage point. He looked up from where the men were, seeing a balcony up two levels, facing right where the entrance to the back of the truck was.
'You got the cash?' they asked, stepping forward as the so-called hero approached. Xian bit back his tongue, praying that they couldn't hear his heartbeat or him swallowing down his nerves. He climbed the stairs he came from, tiptoeing through as he made his way to the balcony area.
The car park went silent as the hero stopped walking, no one moving a muscle in front of him, he could hear it even from how far he was. 'Mmm, I do, let me see the merchandise first.' He made it, looking out from the overhang he could still see everything except for the black Benz hidden just behind where the balcony let him.
The man backed up and nodded at his goons to unbolt the back. Xian's hand twitched, the air growing hot around his fingertips. He could probably jump up on the railing to get a better sight, but that risked exposing himself.
