There was a twenty-minute intermediate, something to do with cleaning up and whatnot, but that gave Xian enough time to get a snack and walk around.
Xian walked around the arena outskirts, stalls set up by the other classes like the business classes. Burnt wood and cooked foods filled the whole area with a sense of familiarity, the old memories of school friends coming up to him to bounce ideas off a "normal" person. They meant someone not in the business class, but it really did not feel like that.

'Xian, Xian!' He whipped his head around to someone calling out his name.
A girl came bounding up to him, the one who he accidentally ran into just a few weeks ago. In her hands were two hotdogs, classic American food.
'Here, as an apology.' she passed him one, laced with onions, chilli, and ketchup, somehow knowing exactly how he liked it.
'For what?' He looked down in his hands at the food, confusion on his face.
'For accidentally knocking into you, so I decided to make up for it. Are you free?' Oh. Oh, she's hitting on me.
Oh my.
It's been less than a month of him being at UA, and he was already being asked out. Xian's face flushed from embarrassment, quickly taking a bite out of the hotdog because the boy was one hell of a stress eater.
She stared up at him, eyes full of hope and anticipation.
Xian glanced around them, guessing the odds of how badly it could go if he turned her down. It would be bad.
'Yeah, I'm free, what do you want to do?' Xian said, pushing his voice to sound completely oblivious.
'Well since your fight isn't for a while, let's get something to get you ready, what do you want, I'll shout.'
'Shout?'
The girl's face went red, stumbling over her words. 'Uh- I- it means sort of like... I'll pay,' she nervously laughed out, playing with her hair.
Xian then realised what he wanted to do. If he was going to go on a date with this girl, then he would make it as fun and tease filled as he could.
He leaned in closer to her, the soft smell of her perfume making him smile, her hair glistening. At least she had good hygiene.
'You will?' he teased, his voice lower. He didn't need to use allure to get this girl's heart exploding.
'Uhm, uh-'
Xian kept leaning in, his lips close to her ear, his breath catching in her hair. 'You look cute when you're flustered.'
He snapped back quickly, acting like nothing happened and wrapped his hand around hers, intertwining their fingers. He could feel her pulse skyrocketing.
He led her around the stall areas, turning around once in a while to give her a smile, making her face go bright red. He took her to a drink stall, wonderfully catered by a boy with a freezing quirk and a girl who had hot hands.
'Do you want to get something for yourself?' he asked, his voice cool and calm, and also extremely fuck-boy-ish. Perfect.
'Uh, n-no. You get something.' she blushed, averting eye contact.
Xian smirked. He walked up to the counter of the stall, the sharp smell of sugars making him frown for a split second before looking up at the boy at the counter. 'Hey upperclassman, can I get a milkshake with,' he looked at the girl for a second, directing his eyes at her. 'Two straws, for... y'know.'
