He looked back at me surprised yet happy he was. we both were.

"Just in time, cinderella."
"You don't me-"
"I sure do." he was taking me to the damned ball. but it was the littlest I could do to return the favor to him. you know scavenging for me when he couldn't. "Fine I'll go. as long as you my date. " I said pushing hair behind his eat.
"Well who the fuck else was supposed to go with you?"
"Hmm." I said put a finger to the corner of my mouth. "well maybe I could take a horse or a gin and tonic, I'll certainly get more conversation out of the-" he kissed me before I could get my sentence out. "love you too asshole."
"Well soon it'll be asshole in a suit." still in our embrace I couldn't stop laughing and thinking about a literal asshole dressed in a suit. God am I disgusting(a/n:-ly amazing!)

"Well I guess I'll be a pig in a dress." I snorted. "won't we be fucking pair?"

"Sure will shortcake."
"Hey! That's my word shortstack."
"Now let's see who's shorter?" Suddenly realizing it he was right. he was about an inch taller. "how's the weather up there?"
"Always height jokes? Tch, thought you would've gotten better by now." I slapped his arm. "what's that supposed to mea-"

"WHATS UP LOVERS~" the driven hanji had arrived. "what's up sailor?" I said back. "have you two fucked yet?"
"No but we will be and that's why you need to leave." he mouth formed an 'o' and she ran for her dear life. as I walked to the door I could hear him behind me. as soon as the door closed I was up against it and his hand held my thigh up. "I missed you."
"Shut up."
"Make me."
And with that he kissed me.

It was the next day levi was stark naked. I gladly had enough respect that I had his shirt and panties on. for once I wasn't the naked one. I put on a pair of shorts and walked outside. today was just the start of a week of free days. that's the proper term. I like to call it " if your alive go enjoy what you have left of it for a week days." not exactly pleasant but at least it made sense. I walked to the hall to find a couple of stragglers from wall Maria. port sons a bitches. they looked at me in awe as if I just shat on the table. I shrugged it off and boiled some tea. then I went back to the room with my hair fucked up side ways and a hickey on my collarbone. even the commander gave me a look. that was until he made a joke. "is that after sex I smell?"
He commented to mike. I suddenly stopped and glared at erwin. then at mike with a cheeky smile. "erwin I'm the sniffer and y/n you smell like levi."
"Well at least neither of you are wrong for once."
"For once?!" The both yelled. I smiled into the tea and entered Levi's room. I found him sitting up in bed with smile. "morning asshole"
"Morning ms.piggy."
I chuckled and handed him his coffee. "can't wait to see you In a dress. tonight."
"I agree!" Hanji said jumping out of the ceiling. levi dropped the mug and slammed the comforter on his lower area. "SHIT-GLASSES HOW FUCKING lONG HAVE YOU BEEN THERE?!" Some how I was terribly calm about this. "since y/n left this morning."
"Oh thank god." I commented. "SO YOU WATCHED MY NAKED ASS SLEEP."
"Yup"
And with that he tried to fight her but remembered he was make and say back down with light dust on his cheeks.
After the conversation had ended and levi got dressed I and hanji went to go get dress, I being my self went with a cupcake dress similar to the made costume again with the ripped tights. to be honest it was a bit of a rugged style I liked it. hanji went with a long green dress it was gorgeous on her and definitely slimmed her.
"What do you think?"
"Well, I think I'm turning gay."
"Y/n your crazy."
"I'm crazy! You watched my boyfriend sleep naked."
"I didn't really watch him more read a book and waited for you to return so we could buy dresses."
"And yet you call me crazy."
We bought the dresses and walked back to HQ. "y/n we forgot to buy heels for you!"
"I don't like heels it makes me walk all drunky."
"Oh, well what are you going to wear then."
"My converse."
"Those dirty shoes."
"You know I have back up clean pairs, right?"
"Actually yes I did."
"How did - never mind you probably just searched through my stuff again."
"It's like you an read minds."
"I wish I could. then I'd finally understand levi." we laughed and got ready. personally was fucking adorable. hanji was gorgeous. she was practically queen of the ball when we got there. she treated herself like it too she danced with erwin, then presumably got drunk, again. for the eight damn time.
And I sat in the corner with levi. we drank scotch and other kinds of liquor.

It was the midst of midnight and all through the ball it was peaceful quiet dancing was seen, along with drunkards. but in that midst there was a dance for couples. I didn't know how to dance I told levi this but it seems s if he didn't care. I blushed and I could hear Petra crying. I smirked and we went on the floor. I stood on his toes which made us awfully close to one another. I could hear "awes" and a couple " that's adorable. there was also a hanji screeching something about Titans and their reproductive systems.
Other than that during the dance it was the most blissful I had been since the wall break. jist the simple strides were beautiful and when I opened my eyes everyone had cleared the dance floor it was just us and a spotlight too. I rested my head on his shoulder and it comfortable there too.

Sadly the song soon ended, and we headed back to our chairs, and I realized something. we had seen each other laugh we had seen each other cry. but we sure as hell could never see each other die or we would ourselves we would just die inside and we couldn't bear to ever see that. the rest of the night I sat on his lap and me cuddled on the seat. even after the he held me in the carriage and on the way home. it was perfect and warm and solid.

And that's the only time it will ever be...
