your p.o.v.~

after Levi 's question I fell into his arms, well more like he pulled me. it was warm I hadn't felt like this in a while, it was better than anything else I had experienced. I had mostly cold stares and stifled laughs, nothing more maybe a genuine smile now and then but really, everybody was either deathly afraid or scared shit less. so I didn't know how to react to other than hug back. I missed this. I missed it a lot. he pulled back a bit and looked more closely at me now. "why?" I pulled away and signaled for him to follow me. we went back to my room and I grabbed my paper and pencil and wrote down my memories of that day.

I was eleven at the time, my parents were killed in the breach eaten alive before my eyes. the new me kicked in and I grabbed the 3DMG my father was teaching me at the time. we're military so we teach each other how to protect ourselves. I than slashed a couple in my way. screaming the loudest even like a titans roar. no one was around to see though. as the second deal was breached I made my way to the second wall on an ignorant titans back. he didn't notice me until the others did when we got to the wall. that's when I rode up the wall killing a few more. that's when the superiors saw me, they asked me a few questions then eyebrows came up to me and tried to knock me out with something in a special needle up his sleeve, classy. anyways, they offered me a sandwich stitched me up and sent me off. after a few days I went to the doctor for my throat hurt like hell. he said because of how loud I screamed I would be able to speak for a year. so I didn't speak for a year I had no reason to. no friends no family. how could I try? So instead I just stopped talking and joined the military to continue our family's legacy. that was that. I never spoke again.

as he read the story I had wrote I saw his expression soften even more than before as he was sitting on my bed. "so erwin has heard you speak?" I nodded "do you think you can now?"

I grabbed the paper back I probably forgot how to depending on how long I haven't spoken for. he looked back up  at me and said "let's teach you then." he said with a grin "just follow everyday mouth movements " I grabbed the paper again it's not that I don't know how to speak more of how to make noise...

he looked at me puzzled this time. "well let's try then, I'll close the door for privacy and you'll try making sound" as soon as he closed the door I got the hang of it again. a couple hours later and I could probably give a Damon good speech although levi left the first five minutes because I wouldn't talk and I don't think he was even around any more, it sounded like he went back to his dorm I sure hope he did. I looked outside he was no where to be found. I went to his room and knocked on the door. he didn't answer so I went in and saw him asleep. he cute when he's not being a douche I thought he was falling asleep at least "cadet if your going to wake someone up you might as well say sorry." I nodded and closed the door behind me. but soon I'd be talking instead.
