Comatose

I woke up and IV attached to my arm a beeping surrounded the room and that's when I heard his voice, Levi's voice. "Y/n? Are you finally awake?"
"Levi?"
"Yes?"
"Is it true? Were you really humanity's strongest? Did we really fight those things?"
"It took a coma for you to remember?" I smiled I knew that finally I had come home and yet I had the memories and I was still with him. everything was good. I kissed him and he kissed back, we hugged for the longest time, God did I miss him. he called some people on his phone although I think he never said their names for a reason. I had some water and put on some of my clothes. when i put them on I noticed the scars I had where my 3dmg used to be. I smiled knowing where they were from and happy they were there even in my new life. the fact that someone out there said "you were a good person lets give you a second chance." Is enough to make even the grinch smile.

I walked out of the little room I had and there was a cake on wheels. and who would've guessed my doctor was hanji and Erwin was the charge nurse, Levi too, he was just on his break today. I looked on the cake and in bright blue letter on a pink cake it said welcome back. the cake was true I am back. and guess who else was back, the whole gang of misfits everyone who helped save humanity was back. stray tears went down my cheeks wiping them away with the sweat shirt sleeves I have. "aww y/n's crying." hanji squealed in a child like voice. she same around the cake and hugged me tight and everybody else joined in. I hugged back laying my head on their shoulders. "thank you." I whispered. "don't thank us, thank levi, because of your death he saved enough anger inside of him to save humanity and find the truth." I smiled again. "how gruesome. now, quick question while we're still in this giant group hug, how weird do you think we look?" the all chuckled but didn't seperate."also, who the fuck is crying on my shoulder? Because I think you need more hugs than me." my head rose above and saw them all hugging on my like I was on a damn crucifix. I looked to my wet shoulder and there low and behold was levi. being the closest to my heart. what a damn coincidence. "all right, all right, eveybody lets eat some cake and celebrate." After we ate the chocolate cake. the team and I went out for a baseball game to celebrate. apparently they filled me in on the past two years. I and Levi were engaged, eren was my ex once before we all knew what we were and once we all did, I was the last one to go to remember it all but no matter what they did I could conquer up nothing. then I fell asleep next to Levi one night and I didn't wake up. he took me to Levi's hospital and was there for two years. random spasms regularly occurred within my bed, keeping in mind that I was probably fighting someone or using 3dmg. all that time I was dreaming I was really remembering. Within the two years I was asleep Levi got a job specifically at that hospital to watch over me. lets just say I chose the right man. during that I'd say they're names and for two weeks I was completely and utterly solid I didn't move once. and half the time I wouldn't speak only few times I would mumble their names. Sometimes they'd get full snarky sentences, and rude nicknames. So out of all that time I finished the journey I was supposed to, remembered my long forgotten destiny, and was still a bitch in the process. score.
my job before this was a writer for a magazine, they even saved the spot for me until I woke up. everything for me was saved like a video game. "hey y/n, you okay you seem a little out of it." Mikasa asked.
"Yeah, just still in shock is all." She nodded. "we were too." As we finally arrived to the game. I started to remember my old life again and the antics I coordinated oh so well and I was thinking of committing one today.

as we sat down at the seats we paid for, I ate the popcorn I wanted and sat between Levi and eren. as the game went on things were getting heating literally tied in the middle of the game. as half time showed there were cheerleaders and a kiss cam, low and behold it landed on our trio. the two beside me closed their eyes and I sprung up from my seat and they leaned closer to each other than ever and they finally connected and i moved  of the way for the camera to see and when they opened their eyes to see each other they sprung back so far they hit the person on each side which were coincidentally laughing too. I was holding on to my stomach and this poor mans seat in front of me. "y/n!" I opened my eyes and bolted running across the top of the seats usually backflipping to avoid tripping on the area of stairs. Eventually catching up with me I grabbed the banner to avoid Levi swinging onto barracks above. i stuck my tounge out to show my sheer level of child like antics. And I waited and waited until he left to swing back down from the bannister. Although I forgot to check my surroundings.

"you were in that coma for so long you even forgot how to check your surroundings didn't you?" I heard him behind me. I tried running but he got the collar of my shirt before I could. "now I don't think it's polite to run away from your fiancé just when he's trying to kiss you?"
"You suck."
"You swallow." I hid my face away remembering the old times of sexy. "can I kiss you now?" I looked at the ground and he kissed on the cheek. I looked at him and grabbed his face and kissed him hard. and pulled away. A smirk painted my lips. He dropped me and stood up again wiping away the pretend dust. "You suck."
"You swallow." I climbed onto his back and pointed forward to our seats. the crowd laughed and we watched the rest of the game and arrived home meeting one very beautiful black cat.
I apparently named her midnight after Levi's horse without even knowing it.  Even tho I remembered none of the old times I still managed to somehow subconsciously remember some things. What killed me was how is never get to fly how I used to, how I'd never get to slash like id used to and I started crying at the thought and I told levi. "y/n don't worry about that, hanji, that clever bitch, made replicas for each of us and each weekend we go out to the abandoned field and slash trees out of pent up anger from that week." I looked at him from our tight embrace. "we do?" He nodded. "good I think I remember this bitch from work named Emily and I think I want to kill her."
"Let's not do that." I nodded. he guided me to the couch and we watched some tv. midnight came along and gave me some licks then proceeded to boop me on my forehead. I think I just got baptized. looks like this new life isn't bad after all.
