After spending some time in the bath, Levi helped me out of it. I did not think I could feel more relaxed than I had the past few mornings, but I did. Levi held up a towel for me. I took it smiling and as soon as I was dry, began on my hair and makeup. Levi left me to do my thing, but soon returned with a pair of his sweats and one of his T-shirts. I smiled as he handed them to me. I put them on as Levi hopped up on the counter to watch me get ready. To my surprise, he held still and let me add a bit of eyeliner to his eyes.
"You look fabulous" I said, kissing his lips.
"If this is how I get treated for getting makeup put on me, you are welcome to put makeup on me anytime" he mumbled, pulling me closer so I stood between his legs.
We were soon interrupted by his mom calling us down for breakfast. "I swear, I cannot wait for us to get our own place," Levi grumbled as he took my hand and led me to the kitchen.
His mom had made her famous chocolate chip waffles. I looked at the table and saw that she had already prepared our waffles for us, exactly how each of us liked them. I gave his mom a hug and thanked her before sitting down at the spot I have had since I was s kid.
After breakfast, Levi told me he had a surprise for me. He ushered me up to his room, where I waited until he was ready. Next thing I knew, he was dragging me to his car. No matter how many times I asked, he refused to tell me where we were going.
After being in the car for ten minutes, we pulled into a parking lot outside of an apartment complex. "Levi?" I asked taking in my surroundings.
"I promised you we would get our own place" he replied as he opened my door for me.
Soon I was being introduced to a relater that is apparently a family friend of his parents. He led us to an apartment. I gasped as we walked in. It was not the most fancy apartment in the world, but it was perfect for us. It was a small, studio apartment, but for our small little family, it was perfect. "Levi" I whispered under my breath.
"Do you like it?" he asked, kissing my forehead.
"Its perfect Levi, I love it" I said as my smile grew.
Levi smiled when he saw the smile on my face, "Whatever makes you happy, makes me happy"
The relator smiled at us and went to go get the paper work. When he got back, he said the owner was allowing us to move in tomorrow. We could not have been more thrilled. Levi picked me up and spun me around. We signed the paper work and headed back to his house to pack.
Levi and I walked into his room and I went straight to his stereo and turned on our EP. Levi gave me a strange look as he heard our band playing through his speakers. "What?" I asked, "Can't a girl listen to herself and the man of her dreams' band play?"
He chuckled before responding, "you never cease to amaze me."
I pecked his cheek as he walked pass me to go find some boxes and suitcases. I helped him pack and he laughed as I danced around the room, singing along to my own voice.
Every thing Levi "folded" I had to refold and place back in the suitcase. "Really?" I asked as he literally dumped an entire drawer of shirts into the suitcase.
"What?" he asked innocently.
"Who taught you to pack?"
"Myself, why do you ask?"
"No reason" I muttered, digging out the unfolded clothes and folding them nicely so that they would all fit better.
After spending most of the day packing, we finally finished just as the pizza Levi ordered had arrived. We pigged out on pizza, until Levi asked me the question I had been dreading, "When do you want to head home and grab your stuff?"
I sighed as I picked up the phone and called my mom:
Mom: Hello
Me: Hey mom
Mom: Hailey, honey is something wrong?
Me: Oh no, mom nothing is wrong
Mom: Oh, so no problems between you and Levi?
Me: No mom, Levi and I are fine. Actually we are moving into our own place tomorrow.
Mom: Oh really, so soon in your relationship?
Me: So soon? Mom we have a baby on the way.
Mom: I just don't think the two of you are old enough to live on your own.
Me: Mom we have a baby on the way! We just spent an entire summer on our own, we are going to be fine.
Mom: Hailey, you know what I mean.
Me: Mom, just what time should I come get my stuff?
Mom: Well, your siblings are gone at friends houses', so now would be best.
Me: Alright, that's fine. I will see you in a bit. Love you
Mom: Love you too, and you know I just want what is best for you.
Me: I know, we will be there in a bit.
Levi looked at me as I hung up the phone. "You ready" he asked cautiously, sensing I was upset.
I nodded and soon we were on our way to his car and then my old home. Levi opened the car door for me once we arrived and held me close as we walked to the front door. I wasn't sure if I should knock or not, so I did the knock and slowly enter thing.
My mom greeted us and walked with us up to my old room. I felt a pang of sadness wash over me when I saw that my youngest sibiling's favorite stuffed dog was tucked carefully in my bed. My mom left us to pack and as soon as she was gone, I buried my face into Levi's shoulder as the tears soon began to fall. "Shhh baby girl its okay" Levi whispered in my ear.
It took Levi a while to calm me down, but once he did we started packing. After packing for a few hours, as fast as we could, I suddenly felt a sharp pain stab through my stomach. "Levi!" I called out as another pain took the old one's place.
