As the weeks went on, Levi and I began to get more and more irritable towards each other. I tried so hard to do everything that I could think of in order to prevent the two of us from fighting. James rarely slept at night and that caused both of us to lose precious sleep. It seemed that we were both luckily if one of us was able to sleep for more than a couple of hours at a time. To top it off, things were not going well for the band. Because we decided to take a break from touring and the studio so that Levi and I could spend some time to raise James and plan the wedding, the band began to lose money. It was quickly becoming a struggle for Levi and I to afford the rent for our place, food, and the endless need of diapers for James. Along with the money troubles, some horrible rumors that had been started about Levi and I had also begun to also take a toll on our relationship and the band.

It was 3 am one Thursday night, when Levi came stumbling through the door, after telling me he would be home over 6 hours ago.

"Where have you been?" I asked after placing James in his crib and walking out to the living room.

"It doesn't concern you." he said, slurring his words.

"Yes Levi, it does! In case you don't remember, we have a son and a wedding to plan and it is clear that you have been at the bar all night!"

"You ever think I need a break from both of you!"

"Excuse me?!" I asked feeling hurt.

"You heard me! I am sick of all the crying and worrying! I am 19 years old, ever stop to think that maybe I don't want a family! I don't want to be stuck with a kid and some slut for the rest of my life!" he shouted.

His words felt like a knife being stabbed in my heart, "Levi what are you talking about? You were the one that wanted to get married! You were so excited waiting for James to be born and when you thought I was pregnant again! You promised me that we would do this together!"

"Don't tell me what I want! I'm don't fucking care! Maybe I fucking lied about everything!" He yelled before slapping me so hard that I fell back against the wall hitting it with my head, causing a hole in the wall where my head hit.

I stared up at Levi and fought back the tears. Levi turned away from me and stumbled off to our room, as if nothing happened. I took a deep breath, before running to James and quickly packing a small bag of the things he would need for a couple days. I wrapped him up in blankets and held him tightly in my arms, to keep him warm in the cool night air. I didn't know where Levi left the keys for the car, so I began the walk to the one place that always made me feel safe.
