When Mason got that call from the mental hospital saying that it was time for Aiden to leave the place for good, he raced over there signed the paperwork and everything else grabbed Aiden and raced home.
Mason hasn't seen his older brother outside of this hospital in years and he always hoped he would be well enough to be out and now he is, and that day is finally happening.
They were currently at Mason's place in Aiden's new room straightening everything up.
They went to the store and got a few things for his room. They were about finished with his room, and it was almost time for the dinner.
"Okay looks like everything is straightened out do you need anything" Mason asked his brother.
"No, I don't need anything I'm just glad to be out of that place" Aiden replied back. "Me too have you thought about school or a job" Mason asked Aiden.
"I'm going to get a job I don't think school is for me at least not right now anyways" Aiden answered back. "Okay I'll take you out tomorrow and we will go apply for jobs" Mason told him.
"Yeah, sure sounds good" Aiden answered back to him. "Okay I'm going to get started on the food if you need anything holler" Mason told him, and he nodded.
Mason then left to start cooking the food for tonight. He was about to set the table, but he saw Aiden already done that.
"I hope you don't mind I found where the plates were and I thought I could help" Aiden said noticing Mason's presence.
"No, I don't mind besides this is your home now too" Mason said, and he smiled continuing to set up the table while Mason went back to finishing the food.
The food was done and now they were just waiting for Skylar and Constance to show up.
Mason noticed Aiden was looking at a picture of him and their dad when he was young, so he walked over to him.
"He had such a good heart he took me in when my own dad didn't even want me" Aiden said out loud when he noticed Mason was beside him.
"Yeah, he did he even took the role as a father to you treated you like his own" Mason replied back.
"He was more of a dad to me than my own he will always be my dad blood or not" Aiden said.
"I know just how I know that he misses all of us very much and that he's glad we found our baby sister" Mason said, and Aiden smiled walking away from the picture.
"So, Constance, mom left her too except she's the only one she put up for adoption right" Aiden asked. "Yes, but she's very sweet you will love her" Mason told him.
"I'm sure I will but she sure looks a lot like Skylar" Aiden said. "You see it too" Mason asked him.
"It's hard not to boy if those two ever teamed up on us" Aiden said. "We be doomed" Mason replied for him as they both laughed.
"I missed you big bro" Mason told him. "And I missed you, little bro" Aiden replied back.
Then suddenly the doorbell rang. "Looks like the girls are here" Mason said as he left to go answer the door.
"Sorry we're late I brought your favorite" Skylar said and Mason smiled.
"It's no problem come in" Mason said as he gestured for them to come in and they did just that. Then they all started eating like one big happy family as happy as that is anyways.
Constance and Skylar made their way to the kitchen table and sat down while Mason put the brownies with the other food and handed them plates while they started putting food on their plates.
Everyone soon got their food and started eating while they talked about the times, they were younger.
"No really Sky broke the vase ran out the door and jumped into the pool thinking dad wouldn't know it was her if she acted like she was swimming" Mason said causing everyone to laugh.
"Well, he didn't" Skylar said back. "Yeah, because I took the blame, he grounded me for a week" Mason said and Skylar rolled her eyes.
"Admit it you had a soft spot for me you were the middle child not me" Skylar told him.
"Yeah, yeah still wish I didn't miss that party" Mason said. "Oh, boo hoo that party was lame anyways" Skylar said back. "Sounds like one crazy childhood" Constance said.
"It was after mom left, we have so many stories to tell you" Mason told Constance and she smiled.
"But anyways do you have any stories" Aiden asked her.
"One time my best friend and I snuck in a bar with fake IDs" Constance said. "Oh, the classic fake IDs" Mason said.
"You have too" Constance asked. "Aiden but he didn't get away with it, dad busted him" Mason said. "Yeah, because you busted me" Aiden said.
"I had to you only went there to beat up Tyler Banks and I didn't feel like busting you out of jail" Mason told him. "He deserved it he stole my girlfriend" Aiden said back.
"She was barely into you" Skylar told him. "Oh whatever" Aiden said and they all smiled.
For the rest of the night, they talked about high school, college, getting busted, you know the good times.
Constance even shared some of her own stories she reminds Skylar of the girl she was back then.
It was now near midnight, and everyone was ready for bed. "Well looks like it's time to go I have to work tomorrow" Skylar told everyone.
"Your last day at the dance studio is tomorrow" Aiden asked her. "Yeah, Liv returns the next day" Skylar replied back to him. "So how do you feel" Mason asked Skylar.
"It helped me realize some things" Skylar told him, and he looked confused.
"I'll fill you in later I have to do some things first" Skylar told him, and he nodded giving her a hug goodbye while kissing her on the cheek and then doing the same to Constance.
"Be safe" Aiden said before hugging Skylar. "I will" Skylar told him as he pulled away to hug Constance.
After saying their goodbyes Constance and Skylar left getting in the car to head home.
"That was a great dinner" Constance said. "Yeah, it was we used to do him once a month" Skylar told her and buckled up seeing she already has.
"What happened why did you stop" She asked. "Dad died" Skylar told her, and she nodded.
"We never meant to it's just I don't know Aiden was in the hospital Mason kept busy with work to distract himself and I just recently quit dance, so we just stopped for a while till a while became permanent" Skylar told her.
"You think we could start it back If that's okay" Constance asked.
"Yeah, I'm sure that's okay I'll discuss it with Mason and Aiden tomorrow" Skylar told her, and she smiled. Skylar then drove off to head home for the night.
