Skylar, Nico, David, and Constance were currently waiting in the waiting room hoping for good news the doctors haven't told them anything for hours.
"Skylar" Skylar heard someone say and when she noticed who it was she couldn't believe it.
"Logan what are you doing here" she asked him before walking up to him.
"I heard the news i wanted to be here for you and your family just like old times we are still good friends broken up or not I still care about you I always will how is everything" Logan asked her.
"She's still in surgery we are just waiting to hear the news" Skylar told him. "Is that Nico" Logan asked Skylar, noticing Nico next to Constance.
"Yeah, we had lunch when it all happened, he's been here for emotional support I would have told you, but I didn't want to bother you with everything" Skylar told him honestly as possible.
"You could never bother me besides you should be with him if he makes you happy it's okay, I noticed the way you two look at each other I understand" Logan said.
"Logan I'm not entirely sure if I'm ready yet I still love you I always have and I'm aware I have mixed feelings but right now all I care about is Constance' Skylar told him.
"I know but deep down I believe that you know you want to be with him it's okay besides if we are meant to be we will find our way we always do but we will stay friends I promise besides now that i think about it he's perfect for you' Logan said.
"Logan we were a great match too and maybe if I told you what was going on" Skylar started to say before she was interrupted.
"Look I'm saying this as a friend I want you to explore having a relationship with Nico and if it doesn't work out come to me okay after that if you want we can pick where we left off" Logan said.
"Fine deal I missed you' Skylar said. "I missed you too i just needed some time I'm sorry you don't deserve that' Logan said.
"No i get it I been staying away from you and Nico too until recently I just had to figure my feelings out" Skylar admitted.
"Did you" Logan asked Skylar, putting her in the spot. "Yeah, I believe so and you're sure you're okay if I go out with Nico" Skylar asked to be sure.
"The only thing I ever wanted for you was for you to be happy even after your dad i promised him you would be happy so if he makes you happy go for it" Logan told her, and she smiled before hugging him.
"Thank you for everything don't disappear on me again" Skylar told him.
"I won't I promise" Logan said before pulling away so she could be with Constance.

The doctors soon arrived, and they all stood up as they went towards them.
"We are so sorry we did everything we could but unfortunately she passed on" the doctors told them before Constance broke down.
"Thank you" Skylar told him, and they nodded and left as Skylar went over to Constance pulling her to her making her sit on the floor while she rocked her back and forth calming her the best she could with David's help.
Weeks after the funeral
Skylar knocked on Constance door before she heard her say "Come in". She went in and saw her doing her work from college Skylar went over and sat on her bed.
"How are you" Skylar asked her. "Not the best but I'm getting there I know she's not suffering anymore and all but" Constance said hesitating to finish.
"She was your mother I get it I do look when I lost my dad I lost myself promise me that won't be you okay your mother wanted you happy she didn't tell you because she didn't want you to be sad forever I know it's sad losing a parent and it takes a long time to get over but she's always with you alive or dead remember that" Skylar told her and she smiled.
"I will, thanks you know sometimes I find it hard to believe you're not my dad's daughter you look so much like him" Constance told her.
"Yeah, I noticed it too it's weird I don't look anything like my dad I never did but I look a lot like you and David" Skylar told her.
"Maybe it's just a coincidence or you could be his secret daughter you never know" Constance said before laughing. "Very funny " Skylar told her before throwing a pillow at her.
"Hey, I try" Constance said, and Skylar smiled. "Okay I'll let you get back to your work I have to practice my dancing anyways since I'm officially back in the competitions I have to practice twice as hard" Skylar told her, and Constance smiled.
"I'm glad you're back in the competitions your dad would have been proud finally going after your dreams" Constance said, and Skylar smiled.
"Just like your mom would be proud of you working hard at school studying to be a doctor like you always wanted" Skylar told her, and Constance smiled.
"Hey thanks for being there and for being my sister it means a lot to me" Constance said.
"Hey, it's what big sisters are for and big brothers you're stuck with us for life rather you like it or not" Skylar told her, and she laughed.
"Well good cause I don't plan on leaving anytime soon" Constance said, and Skylar smiled at her.
"You're going to be an amazing doctor one day I just know it" Skylar told her. "And you're going to be an amazing dancer or judge whatever you choose to be I'll be there watching" Constance said.
"You don't have to do that" Skylar told her, and she smiled. "I know but it's what sisters are for right" Constance asked her.
"Yeah, right so what doctor do you want to be" Skylar asked her. "I think I want to do something with trauma you know something not easy" Constance told her. "You'll do great" Skylar told her, and she smiled.
"You think you can teach me dance someday it be something we could do together you know as sisters, or we could find something else to do if you like" Constance asked.
"Yeah, I can teach you if that's something you're really interested in, but we could always find something else doesn't have to be dance okay" Skylar told her, and she nodded.
"Okay I just don't want to lose you either or Mason and Aiden I already lost my mom" Constance said still a little sad about her mom's death.
"You'll never lose us" Skylar said seeing Constance smile before leaving.
