Chapter fifty four

Constance was now back home finishing up some work Aiden went home after he finished his.

Constance was nearly finished with college, and she couldn't believe it. She was this close to achieving her dream of becoming a doctor.

Constance kept noticing Skylar staring off into distance lost in thought. She soon finished her homework and went over to sit next to Skylar.

"You okay" Constance asked her. "Yeah, just thinking" Skylar told her.

"What is it Sky you can tell me" Constance told her. "If my dad knew all along, why didn't he say anything" Skylar asked.

"Maybe because he loves you and no matter whose kid you were biologically related to you were still his he is the one that stuck around my dad, or our dad David didn't" Skylar told her.

"He had no excuse of what he did he should have fought for you it is no excuse to be living a lie I love my dad i do but what he did was wrong" Constance told her, and she smiled.

"Guess you're right" Skylar said. "I may need your help" Skylar told Constance looking at her.

"With what" Constance asked her. "Seeing our dad" Skylar told her.

"You're going to see him" Constance asked a little confused. "No matter how we feel about each other he is still Reign's grandfather, and she deserves to know him the minute I became a mother everything changed it's not just about me anymore it's about her" Skylar said.

"No matter the circumstances he deserves to know his grandchild as much as she deserves to know her grandpa I will not take that from her because of my feelings towards him" Skylar told Constance.

"You're a great mom Sky" Constance told her, and she smiled.

"Besides he is your dad too he's going to be around for holidays, weddings, graduation I need to learn to forgive and move on" Skylar said.

"If not for me for her my little girl" Skylar said once again. "Okay when do you want to go" Constance asked her. 'Tonight okay" Skylar asked.

"Yeah of course it's the weekend and I'm already caught up for school" Constance told her, and she nodded.

"When you decide you need to leave, I don't care when, when you think you have had enough, or it is just too much tell me, and we'll go you don't have to stay if you don't think you can" Constance told her, and Skyler smiled at her.

"You're the best little sister a girl could ask for" Skylar told her, and Constance smiled.

Logan was currently cuddled up next to his girlfriend on the couch when she told him something he didn't expect.

"You're going to see your dad" Logan said once again confirming it. "Yeah, don't worry Constance is going with me" Skylar reassured him. "But why" Logan asked her again.

"Because Reign deserves to know him no matter how we feel about him we shouldn't take her grandpa away from her and besides he is Constance's dad to we have to learn to get past this if not for our sake for hers" Skylar said and Logan realized she had a point.

"Do you want me to come with you two i can get off work" Logan told her.

"You don't have to" Skylar told him. "I want to not only are you the mother of my child, but you are also my girlfriend and I love you" Logan told her.

"Okay only if you want to" Skylar said. "Then it's settled I'm going" Logan told her, and she smiled that big smile of hers he loves so much. "When do we leave" Logan asked.
