Soon enough Logan, Constance, and Skylar made it to David's with Reign in the back with Constance.
Constance went to greet her dad while Skylar grabbed Reign and Logan got the diaper bag locking the car as soon as they caught up to Constance.
David soon answered the door not expecting to see Skylar after their last visit.
"Skylar" David said still surprised to see Skylar. Everyone was silent not exactly sure what to say until Skylar broke the silence. "Thought you would like to meet your granddaughter" Skylar told him.
David looked at Reign who was in Skylar's arms before gesturing for Skylar, Reign, and Logan to come inside.
They all went inside sitting in the living room. Constance sat with Logan and Skylar while David sat in his chair across from them . "You had a baby" David asked Skylar.
"Yes, this is Reign" Skylar said gesturing to Reign, and he looked at her smiling.
"And who's this" David asked Skylar gesturing to Logan. "This is Logan, Reign's father and my boyfriend" Skylar told him and he nodded.
"Would you like to hold her" Skylar suddenly asked him and Constance didn't think he was expecting her to say that by the way he looked. "Is that okay" David asked making sure she was okay with it.
"Of course, she is your granddaughter" Skylar told him before getting up and showing him how to hold her before sitting back down.
"She looks just like you Sky" David told her and she smiled. "So, dad how have you been since mom" Constance asked breaking the tension.
"Here and there sweetie it comes and goes" David told Constance.
"She was the love of my life you never get over that it just gets easier by time" David told them, and Constance saw Logan look at Skylar like he understood.
"So, how long are you staying" David asked them. "Just a week" Logan told him and he nodded.
Reign suddenly started crying and as Skylar was about to get up Logan beat her to it. Logan took Reign from David and checked her diaper. "Just a diaper change I got it" Logan told them.
"Constance, do you want to help" Logan asked, signaling that Skylar and David needed to be alone.
"Sure, be back soon" Constance said leaving with Logan to change Reign.
"Thank you for letting me meet her" David said. "She deserves to know her family despite everything" Skylar told him.
"Is there any way we can start over I know I made mistakes and that i should have told you but it's in the past I can't change it" David told me.
"I know that I also believe everything happens for a reason I'm not sure if we can start over" Skylar told him, and he sighed.
"But I would like to try" Skylar told him once again and David looked at her before smiling.
"Maybe we can do dinner once a week you, me, Constance, Reign, and even Logan" David offered.
"Yeah, that be nice" Skylar told him, and he smiled. "I am sorry what your mother put you through if i would have known" David started to say but Skylar interrupted him.
"It's okay don't worry about it" Skylar told him, and he nodded. Shortly Logan returned with Reign in his arms. "Where's Constance" Skylar asked him.
"Looking at her old baby stuff" Logan told Skylar Reign's hungry" Logan told Skylar. "I got her" Skylar told him grabbing Reign from him leaving the room.
Logan took Skylar's place on the couch after she left to go feed Reign.
"So how long have you two been together" David asked.
"We were together before but with her dad i mean William dying she needed to be by herself and then we got back together other things were complicated she was having feelings for another guy" Logan started to say before David interrupted.
"Another guy" he asked. "It's a long story" Logan told him, and David nodded.
"This time I'm hoping it sticks we been through so much together that if we break up again, I'm not sure I can handle it" Logan admitted to him.
"You really love her" David said. "She's my life i would give up anything for her" Logan told him.
"She deserves everything she could ever want after everything that went down; she deserves to be happy" Logan told him.
"I agree just like I believe that you two are meant for each other I know I haven't known her long or you for that matter, but you would have to be an idiot to not see the love you and Skylar share" David told Logan, and he smiled.
